  1. i ordered 2 tins of pellets from uttings last week, i then had an email saying they cant send them unless i send proof that i am 18, i mean come on ffs
  2. why does it matter if they can lift the lid? you want them to get to the food anyway
  3. ok thanks lads will look for a 1 mode then
  4. whats the reason to get a single mode instead of the 3 mode mac as i want one myself
  5. Shine, you'll be giving off morse codes when out on a sunny day lol, you best only take it out after dark !! just kidding, looks good mac

    Hm

give bisley superfields a try mate, they group better than ftt's in my .20 hw100 and same weight.
  7. Looks like you had a cracking night there mate, apart from the amount of gutting and skinning afterwards What pellets are you using?
  8. are you sure you have not got lost on your new permission and found yourself a bunny farm happy days mate enjoy
  9. I have a hawke panorama and if for example if I am shooting at 10x mag a target at 40yds my holdover is 1 mil dot, but if I then change to say 6xmag and shoot at same target with 1 mil hold over my pellet impacts higher. Can be quite confusing so I tend to zero at 8x mag and leave it at that
  10. I bought a hw100 in .20 last year and am really happy I did, I find it flies flatter and faster than .22 so less hold over/under required but hits just as hard with a satisfying crack on impact. deadly out to 60yrd. as for pellets you have h&n ftt and jsb exact, my hw loves both. can not comment on the huntsman as never used one, but am now a huge fan of .20 and will use nothing else in 12ft lb
  11. I have a hw100 .20 and would highly recomend it. the pellet smacks like that of a .22 but is a lot flatter, faster and more forgiving. mine is deadly accurate with h&n ftt and jsb exact
  12. well been to my gun shop today and had a play with both the sidewinder and panorama, both looked really good to me with really nice clear optics, i preferd the side focus on the sidewinder but felt it was a little heavier weight wise so have decided to go with the panorama 4-12x50 ir ao as i felt there was very little to choose between the two other than the panorama being a lot cheaper, thanks for the advice all
  13. thanks for all the advice lads its been really helpful, i will be going to my rfd tomorow to try and look through a few of the scopes mentioned, i like the look of the panorama ev ao at the price as i can then put the rest of the money towards a decent lamp etc. will let you know what i decide on to partner my 100kt .20 which should be with me next week
  14. thanks for the advice deker, so what scope would you go for? had also thought about a mamba lite but have heard mixed reports about them suffering white out etc and would prefer a milldot ret
  15. Thanks lads think i will go for the 3-12x50 then, had a look at the sr pro ret the other day but found it a bit to busy for me as i am just starting out, can see how it would be usefull to the more experienced shooter though
