    One mans good allrounder, is another mans poor allrounder, Bullx are more in vogue than collie crosses, i have seen both work and both do the job. other crosses aswell, If its good enough to be in your yard thats all that matters. Oh and only used one to draw now and again, i like hands on personally just my opinion though. All the best

    whitser, you are in to the digging and from your view and mine your right, but the lads never seen it himself, he might say sod this if the dog gets a hiding from its game.

    If your uncle still has his farm, will he not let you have a nose around there ? plenty of foxes found in barns too. any working terrier clubs by you ? You can never have enough permission, get round the local farms, once you have, im pretty sure someone will take you up on an invite. Good luck

    HUSH PUPPYS WERE THE ANSWER ALL ALONG, THE YOUNGSTERS OF TODAY See how the lady is calm and collected just before she boots the dog, lesson learnt me thinks !!!! And they are fantastic for digging in too !!!

    Thanks for the replies people. We are more than happy to help any of the youngster out, and have a few that come out hunting with us, our club is well advertised and so is our hunt. I take back the bit about shit dogs, just angry about it all. its not the dogs fault, digging before the dog has him pocketed up now that i think about the earth. Regards Dogrun

    After being out with hounds this morning, my partner and i went for a dig this afternoon, dropped my dog in the first spot ( 6 holer) and within seconds the dog barked once then grabbed hold. very easy earth, and dug him with two backed up in the stop end, only 3 ft from the entrance, and 3inch of water laying in the tube ! 0.4 on the box we dealt with the two of them, and dropped the dog back in, 30 secs later one bolted and went back into a hole about 10 yards away, this too had 3 inch of water laying in it, my dog came out to follow it, and i scooped him up and let another young dog in

    Excellent night, missed hunting the next day due to mr plod, stopping me the next morning, failed at roadside passed in the station :-) must have been all them babyshams

    DO you have any anti-freeze around the stables or any cars leaking a little bit? as it tastes very sweet and dogs love it !!
