    fish for bass often here.......usually use 3/0...or 4/0's size hook, but needs to be a strong made hook..or the blighters will bend it..peeler crab....be it shore crab..or velvet crab...are top baits...mind them velvets fight back,,,lol...regardless of where you fish for them I would always carry a few lures ,,,have a cast or 50 with them....if can get hold of any live sandeel is a cracking bait.... tight lines
