  3. mackerel usually come into the bay in a couple of months.....try freelining the sandeel....usual catch the biggest pollock this way...best take sandeels in a wide mouthed flask..........better known as a 'soup flask'..that way will stay frozen till needed...have heard theres been a few bass...plaice caught along the beaches before you get to the Mull.....when going through Ardwell.' on the way to the mull....pop into the place that sells boats/dingy's.... they usually have up to date info on the fishing in that area.........hope this helps..   11. Do use run rigs,,,,but was fishing over weed....was easier to take of sinker...then to change over to a float rig..... ...thats the first time come across the pike in Loch Ronald feeding that way..usually are very positive runs..... good luck for the weekend.... Alhoy
  12. catch our breeding pheasants.....using 4 8ft x 4ft wired sections.mesh roof with a funnel in each side...one side as a door ......feed well inside funnels......get plenty of birds..... Alhoy this keeper prefers to keep the alcohol in his glass....

  15. is the terrier in question kenneled out side..???...I had this prob with My pat...'14 mths' old......brought him inside for a few days a week. took him to work a few days a week....the change in the dog is unbelieveable.... try to get close with the dog.. Alhoy

Well...went fished Loch Ronald today......after 5 dropped runs the penny dropped....the fish where very finicky...taking the bait ..moving 1or 2 yds..then dropping the bait.....this i put down to them feeling the weight of the sinker......reeled in re-baited....removed sinker '2oz'...then recast........next 2 runs were positive runs ..the fishing running with the bait.......the result...one pike at 5.5lb...the other 7lb 13 oz.........not big fish ..but better then none....on the plus side...started on new sun tan.... the bait used....mackerel and herring

  22. hi there...the neoprene mod cover is the type that covers the end of the mod...its fitted from the back of the mod ..then pushed to the front...
  23. have bought the sun shade..& can cover.....still have white shading on scope...moved the lamp here ..there 7 every where..still white shading... am using a clulite lanp on a leupold 39 x 50 scope..with t8 mod....any more suggestions...'even another type of lamp that sits up higher from the scope'.... cheers....Alhoy
  24. jills want seperate birthing cages...if you dont do this you risk the jill eating the young kits if disturbed or harassed by the other ferrets....best to have the cage in a quiet place away from other animals also...ie.dogs cats...have heard of them even killing their kits from human disturbance,...ie...Kids...lol...always had my birthing cages in the shed for the first week or so.......
