Madness isnt it! yeah the vet said its going to plan, just get some weight back on him, aloud for 20miute strolls on the leed now, just looking up! ahh if vet says its lookin good ul be fine...seen some stuff myself in horses and dogs when i used to work voluntary in vets in uni holidays and bit of tlc works wonders ...keep us posted great to see the pics ahhh yeh my mum was dead good considering blood makes her faint havent left the house for the past 2 weeks unless was at vets with the puppy or dog, yeh ill make sure i do

haha belive me mate wasnt a scratch, was absoutley terrible, why am so pleased with how its turned out! not sure but its 5 general check ups, 2 operations 3 over night stays, and claws clipped!

yep he's insured but as my dog was attacked by a sanctuary dog and i only live down the road, after 2 meetings with them they are covering all the costs of the vets they have bought new harnesses leeds and muzzles which i made sure off, i cudnt stop it happening to my dog but any other lads who have dogs like mine atleast the procautions that r put in help a little!

Heres the stiching and healing few days after the second op, my boys looking abit brighter, more alert and eating abit more again so all postives and im really pleased with how the vets have done thiss! The whole left open as a wound at the bottom was puprosley not closed to allow drainager and is closing over now as an open wound to all who said my dog wouldnt walk again or run, i think its lookin positively the opposite!

Alright lads and lasses, just a little update on how the whippet is doing, he's been in and out the vets frequently for around 2 weeks, at first we had no luck, his inury was infected, the antibiotics wernt doing there job and the skin had died, after that they decided on another operation which was around 9 days ago? and this is how its shaping up now you'll see in the picture below, im really pleased, he lost alot of weight from 15kg to 13kg and today back to 14.3 so he's getting back to himself, the shade often depressed him but he puts up with it! thanks for everyones advice support and kn

i am not the one going to pay 250 for a pup mate think you could do better £250 ain't alot for a half decent pup surely? There ain't many Saluki Whippets about. Especially out of decent parents (if they are!?). Lurchers are on here for £175 regularly and sell. An extra 75 notes for a specific cross from good stock ain't gonna kill me. Of course I could be wrong, they could be shite and his dogs never done a days work. I was just giving the lad benefit of the doubt. at 9 weeks I wouldn't expect a lot, if its going to be a house dog would be concentrating on stopping it pissing in the house etc, and starting to look at recall and once that is sorted start getting it to fetch ball/toys (but wouldnt expect it to fetch at 9weeks), I would not bother with sit/stay for another few weeks as with a pup that young its likely just to want to follow you everywhere. If its already doing the things you mentioned then fair play but I wouldnt expect a puppy to do anything like sit/stay at 9 weeks my pup sits at 8weeks 10weeks now, dosnt stay but sits and re calls t
