thing is mate if your gonna do it, you may aswell do it properly!!! ok you can dig it out by hand........ im just a lazy kunt and always price a digger in if i can........when you think about if it gets it done in a day, its no more expensive than paying someone to do it by hand over two days..........

I meant how many tonnes And feck the digger driver... av got a wheelbarrow spade and a trailer and a boy who will work for twenty quid carry on then but trust me for the price and time/effort it saves, a digger/driver will look like peanuts when your digging hard soil like that in the heat......... plus more will come out than you think!!! you will need a ton an half on there.........

first of weigh the sink in......... then see if you can hire a digger and driver.......average price is 150 a day and a good one will piss that in a day!!! ask him about getting rid of the soil, he will no someone for that...........then find a firm that crushes concrete round your way as stone is around a tenner a ton off them, compared to £50 a ton bag for mot1 from a builders merchants..... get the stone for inches below the level of the slabs, whack it and then look around for slabs, you will find someone wanting rid if you look hard enough lol and then get some sand, cement, mix it in
