  1. its like the day it came out of the box, always oiled and wiped down after use what ever the weather, mint condition, parker hale silencer and 1 piece mounts , really dont want to sell it but has to go. Had it tested with bisley superfield and its around the 11.7 mark and its accurate with these pellets too, and claimed the lives of abit of everything in the past year iv had it , quite quiet for a springer, open to sensible offers..
  2. i agree as when a tall dog runs, its about 4 inches shorter anyway, and if they can reach the bottom of their bowl, they can reach a rabbit, imo
  3. i got a deerhound/greyhound x collie grey and shes slung more to a the greyhoundy side with deerhound character, laid back etc shes looking promissing, stands 29tts
  4. your asking for proof of damage etc, but most people have the common knowledge not to walk such a youngster so far, and like i said earlier, i gave you the answer to what it does, but your still digging for arguments etc you'll end up walking the weight off him too..pups need to be fed up and keep the weight on untill its fully matured (depending on breeding). put a pic up of your pup? never seen a malamute cross
  5. just wondering if anyone has this gun as its on order, and i would like to know what the best pellet is to use, both power and accuracy wise, itl be in a .177, any advice would be great thanks lads
  6. i was going to, bloody perfect conditions, but the lamp is broke, none of my butties got a spare batt, and no1s answering or in who got a lamp for me lol well chinned, gusts of wind up to 40mph and 98% cloud cover all round by me, argggghhhhhh ! lol awwell shite happens, good luck butt
  7. Taking a jabbed up pup out for a bit of ferreting sounds like a good idea , walking a nine week old puppy for miles a day sounds like you need a good kick in the bollocks. have you ever taken a dog out at a young age or are you just like most people and read books if you havnt taken a dog from a young age how do you know that it is not good for them tiger woods was young when he started golf roger federer was young when he started tennis and they turned out to be good at there chosen sports so whats to say its bad also wolves travel miles to catch there prey do they have problems when they
  8. and by everyone saying that it will f**k the dog up, the bones are still soft like humans at a young age, and walking it that far, will gain muscle to dense for the bone structure therefore resulting in dodgy joints, could result in bowed legs, what ever it is, you obviously wont take a telling off a number of people who had dogs longer than you and i, and itl just result in your dog, not being as good as it could of been, so if your dog turns out quick and agile, it could of been better, patience is a virtue, anyway, you got the reaction you was hoping for...prick

  10. firstly no we dont try to injure the rabbits and we didn't so no harm done. just trying out the new gun. secondly no i'm not i'm just saying a little comment that my friend managed to get a rabbit at that distance perfectly humanly and truthfully. everyone misses at closer ranges but we didn't and don't intend to like EVERYONE! what power is that r10 on? because a 12ftlb rifle at 30yrds is suppose to hit the target with little more than 3ft lb, apparently lol
  11. finding it really difficult to gain any permission at all but i really enjoy the sport and is putting a right dampener on it for me any help would be great
  12. what an oppurtunity , asks for some to go shooting rabbits with and bags himself a weekend stalking deer..cant fault it
  13. and by the right time i mean not rushed, and as of round my way, you dont see any collie crosses, or any other cross of the same but bullx getting passed round piller to post
  14. the reason everyone thinks its better to have bull x to take bigger game than bunnies, is because theres so many of them, ANY lurcher entered at the right time, and at a tidy size should take anything
  15. i wouldnt of thought the vet would waste their time in telling you to come back a week later for an injection that doesnt actually work, some vets are better than others,BUT they all have the same procedures and same drugs to abort pups as every other vet in the country...IMO
