    and general maintainance of working dogs...this is why jackies book aint too bad, gives you an insight to all that needs to be thought about, and its not a bulging book to bore you to death

    im not saying i believe and do everything down to a T with what they say in books, but give everyone a general look in into what breed (temperemant) they like, and what that dog will do for them..dont get me wrong, getting out and stuck in is far better than sitting at home reading 101 books, but i think it does help knowing what dog your choosing, and how to enter them correctly, this avoids dogs be passed about, dont you agree?

    how much would a hw80 ruffly be going for? scratches on the stock, took back to the metal on the barrel etc due to rust..needs abit of tlc of the innerds too..how much roughly?

    this topic have occured a few times, and the only thing i can say, is do it the way you want too, asking everyone on this site will just result into an argument ..or better still get a good book or two, and see what they say, theyve had dogs for years and bred there own dogs etc, im sure all the books or stuff iiv read have stated to let your dog be a pup..and let it mature..thats the way iv done it, you can only ruin a dog by rushing it? but iv never heared of ruining a dog because youve held it back?...running young dogs to early will f**k them up, and i know you havent said you have, im jus

    i dont know about anyone else, but iv shot rabbits in daytime standing no rest and rested (fence post etc) , only a few due to getting in a better position, but when the oppertunity arrises id take a standing shot..im not saying im an amazing shot im just stating a fact, that aslong as you use correct movement of both wind and yourself, a 6ft 15 stone guy can go un noticed sometimes, so if this can be achieved, no doubt the sitting position is more effective or just effective..woodies can spot you just aswell and all them have been standing no rest..i find sometimes with a springer, that rest

    most of the owners dogs time was either training or field trails by the sounds, where othere men with collie x's spent majority of there time out catching, someone has always had a better dog and a bigger dick lol its the rules when you sign up to the forum isnt it? but everyones entitled to there opinion, and my bitch got 1/4 collie, and she seems to be fine...eager as f**k, and havent given up on anything just yet...il let you know when she does, thats if she does atb lol

    depends what breed mate, my bitch has only been out a couple of times, and she 18months coming on 19months..but shes 29tts, and still has abit of maturing to do yet, deerhound type lurchers or larger type lurchers tend to need longer for there bodys to properly form..atb mate

    i have a dh/gh x collie ggh..and in due time, not yet by any means , probably be putting something whippety over her..whip/grey maybe or just a whippet, atleast 21tts though,should bring her size down a tad..why not go for sal/grey ?atb
