  1. I had one when I was 8 , an bought another about 2 years ago for my partner's son. Their alright for abit of fun, but anything serious, I'd go for the Cometa 220(if they stil do it, I had one also) upwards, like the 300-400-400 fenix etc. The 50 will probably be putting out about 6-7ft lb same as most juniour guns. But good luck in your findings ,Atb.
  2. http://www.gunstar.co.uk/Air-Rifles/Hatsan-AT-44-10-gun-for-sale-gs124850.aspx I'm not sayin this is you btw, it cropped up early that's all. Lpl
  3. Are u selling this on gunstar with broken stock an claiming 100 yrd kill shots with it ? Lol
  4. I know, end of Feb I last heard, great idea but need to stop changing there minds lol..
  5. Iv only read one review of the 280k being good after a tune on bbs. I had one and for 240 quid asking price I couldn't fault it
  6. "I don't have a lot of money " he said so u recommend him a blitz lol ...go for clulite, or just save up , season out anyway
  7. Don't take your eyes off them for second regardless if you think they listen lol I started when I was 8 , I listened and was pretty good. But then my partner's son I started him at ten, he's now 12 , an I still got to have eyes in back of my head, no thanks to bloody COD lol ...sooner they learn discipline the better though in my eyes. Good luck.
  8. I was watching a guy shooting steak at 30-40 yrds I think an the damage the 22 made was huge compared to .177
  9. Face net an gloves now, its mad ..iv never used one before December, but they work really well. And I would never go out without my muckboots lol comfy isn't the word
  10. Thing is with Hawke aswell, they have the software too, to properly set a gun an sight up...I think they all should be following suit
  11. Keep it on a lead, say up , or over with gentle tug on lead with bit of a run up, something about 3 ft, within a week build up slowly it should jump most things
  12. The best feet ive ever seen were on a bull/ whippet. Also ive seen bull lurchers run on the toe smashing hampshire fields without too many problems. We were on stony land last night with a saluki/grey and a bull/grey. First run the salukis feet look like someone has smashed them with a sledgehammer. Then the bull/grey was slipped on something browsing along a Beatle banks. A fast rast across the flint then a quick nip and a firm throat hold. Checked his feet and hed split his stopper. And i thought salukis were all terrain dogs ? Atb anyway, what's saying the whippet didn't give the dog go
  13. surely your comment is a complete joke? Lol
  14. That's the first, too windy to rain? Lol you wanna get yourself to.wales
  15. I'll be honest with you, all my perm have come from shooting aspect , mention lamp an lurcher to 99% of farmers in an open convo, see how their face changes lol
  16. So you cross the breed to slow it down? I think if you done abit of digging into the subject you will find the lurcher came about because certain species wasn't allowed to be taken with greyhounds etc, this is where longdogs and lurchers came from initially, to get arround law. People now do cross say collie into a lurcher bred dog for brains etc...I class shit feet as flat as a pancake injury prone...not nuckly ,rigid GOOD tight feet.. The dog game would be boring if everyone was the same, but most people see what other people write on here and spout shit like bull adds good feet to a runnin
  17. Obviously those dogs are the minority then..I wouldn't entertain a plodder either...tell me why people say whippets an greyhounds have shit feet when bred to be the fastest dogs in the world ? It's like ferrari releasing a car with 15" wheels with budget tyres on it...like I said, most of its common sense...but the amount of bull shit , scuse the pun , that is on this site is beyond me. I still don't understand it, I'd still go for a well put together deerhound x than bull x. Deerhound got better attributes to add into a lurcher , than a staff or a APT(or is that a British pit introduced in
  18. If I had to have dog to do teeth, it be dh x gh before a bull x
  19. Mate they work, so Probs out in field. Call back or leave msg with wife
  20. Bull was introduced into them hundreds of years back. How come I hear people say aww whippets are to accident prone because they are too game runningbthrough stuff...then people on about "add bull an you get the gameness" , and the comment about adding good feet? Are you f****n insane? 90% of the bull xs iv seen look like their wearing flippers??? Starting to think ifanyone actually speaks any truth on here atall...
  21. What do u want the dog to do, an how many dogs are you going to pass on before you find "the one" , u should really stick with your decision rather than pass two dogs along in one year..
  22. Nice mate. Looks like some tidy land. Lucky you with perm out of the way, f****n plod stopped me othernight on perm, still caused a fuss even with permission. But it where its situated I suppose lol b*****ds. Atb
