    Wind was blowing well last night so i said id get my pup(jess) out for a run on some young bunnies .its only her second night out and i noticed a big improvement .she is starting to follow the beam well now.after nearly a hour of searching our usual spots we hadnt even left the car the grass was too high in all the fields we checked .We decided to head for home thinking our night was going to be a waste.Not far from home we checked a spot where the silage had been cut the day previous.Shone the lamp in over the gate and seen two rabbits sitting out so we said we would give them a go.My mate wa

    was out walking the dogs in an unused sand quarry bout a year ago.i seen a cat on the far hill (about 100yards)seen a couple of rabbits near the cat so i said id wait and watch.the cat sat stone like for nearly an hour until a young rabbit nearly walked into his mouth .i was impressed by the cats patience even though i hate the things

    fair play danny for giving it a go i only hunt with 2 other lads and one of them is my brother because you couldnt trust the lot round here.hope this gets up and running would be good to meet some good hunting lads

    really depends on how much you have in your pocket.i use a motorbike battery and a lightforce lamp does the trick for me.but then donkdaniel set up is the business but bit on the expensive side for me at the minute.both ways will catch you quarry though atb

    i couldnt care less about greyhounds coursing with muzzles on i hunt with lurchers not greyhounds. and i think that muzzling a greyhound was a fair compromise anyway ,its the one reason why the sport is still allowed in this country imo.if it was going to be banned it would of been banned when the greens were in power and thankfully they are no more.
