  17. Was thinking about buying a saluk purebreed,im waiting to find the right pup, are they are a good dog on the lamp?im willing to pay good money for the right pup ,and is there any Irish lads on here that breed them.seen some lovely ones across the pond if i can buy a good one this side would make it easier..any help will be appricated..
  18. my first dog was a purebreed, got her because she was nervous on the track but gave her time and i had her hunting with me,she was bad to recall but had great heart on all game,i think her legs might b a little brittle compared to a lurcher but she certainly wasnt afraid of any game that popped out.Fly was her name sadly passed away now but still have the good memories.she wasnt as smart as your collie lurcher but her heart made her a great dog
  19. Hi all new to this site just browsing around some good reads on here..some nice dogs also..im looking for a first cross collie grey pup for a one stop home.iv hunted with whippet hounds for the last few years but thinking of trying something different..
  20. hello all,iv owned whippethounds for the past few years with good results.most of my hunting is done at night lamping rabbits.i was thinking of buying a first cross colliehound pup as my 2whippet hounds are getting a bit old..would this be a wise decision.i was recently out lamping a new area and came across a few hares.is it still legal to hunt hares in Ireland, and would a colliehound have the stamina for hares?
