Cheers lads, Vin , that bag of rabbits pal, still frozen rigid this morning when i got up, so sliced the buggers in half, first thing i noticed, was the amount of fat, lovely job, ive just bedded em down with half, hissin n spitittin, no attempts to bite me today, not that i give a monkies, i woold soon sort that out, perhaps its the fact they have been well handled from birth atb keith

  5. just to clarify, the ferret wasnt put to work, but still they will accompany me on my outings, better than being stuck at home

  8. today, so we just had a short srtoll, took the hob out with me, get used to the dog, to warm in the carrying box for the two, she will get her turn tomorrow, down that country lane, into another world, absolute bliss

Tomo, wasnt in his company long, hes one of them blokes you can look in there eyes and chat with all day long, and i like chatting wi folks as no what they are on about, but like ive said, he went miles out of his road to give me the ferrets, and i appreciate it, they have settled in well, no attempts to bite me now, and the dog has accepted them no bother thanks for the comments

And he handed these 2 crackers over to me, plus a bag of rabbits, he went out his way for me, just like northernlite is doing with the offer of a pup, so thanks very much Vin, the hob has had a go at me a couple of times , but after handling him for a while, offering my finger, i could now trust him wi my private parts, they will get some humpy come the season, even my dog knows what they are about, some decent lads on here cheers keith
  12. been at it now for nearly 60 years, and not wanting to blow my own trumpet, cos no one else is gonna do it for me, ive done it all in them fields and woodlands, and will carry on doing so until the good lord takes me, and i hope its out theer in the fields, many a time i sit back and reflect on some of my encounters, i could write a book with ease, had some great dogs to, and now for the moment a 1 working whippet, soon i hope to have myself a lurcher pup, fingers crossed, no one will ever stop me from doing what i love, i mean just look at the pic, out wi dog, i walk miles every day of the we
  13. that badger showed no fear of my dog, i happily walked past it with the dog on leash, i have it on film of badger and dog together, until it decided to piss off to earth
