  2. The WMA (wildlife management associations) do a good line of snares to worth a look
  3. That is a good box its one of the first prototypes I sent to protrapper about 4 years ago if you build one be care full you dont make the holes to big or you will get non target species in there

  9. Its not legal to sell not a proved traps just use them there is the same with body grip traps there are many types in use in this but the only legal type is bmi the rest are illegal if you read the spring trap appoval order
  10. Is it a proper WCS tube trap for the UK because there are several types
  11. Put some peanut butter on the roof of the trap above the foot plate then just put it where they are there is not much to it with these traps

  13. What about catching mink on the river and you have water voles you can let the vole go and then despatch the mink can't do that with a kill trap
  14. As said above it will get your head going and before long you becoming up with your own ideas its a good starting point

  16. cooling oil work but eucalyptus oil works well and smells nice
  17. You need to set with a good back eg a big tree or a bank the just place a branch or stones to guide the fox in just make sure the snare can not get caught on any thing and strangle the fox this will keep you in the code of good practice I will see if i can get some pics for you.

  19. Yeh I use the nd3 for fox shooting on my .204 and can see clearer out at 250-300 yard with the laser than in the lamp its a good bit of kit

I am not douting your ability at being able to make one but have you looked at one closely at one there is a lot of work that goes in to one of them and as stated above they would need approval, so you would need ten of them made and sent to FREA for testing then you will have to wait until October to find out if it got a proved is it worth it if you only want one or two just my thoughts on it, but if you can make them and they are good and get them a proved there mite a market for them.
