    hi all , my local gun shop has a used hw97 kt synthetic in .22 for sale at £250 ,is this a good price ? also read a lot about people tuning their weihrauchs , is the rifle anygood untuned for use in the field ? and any scope mounted lamp recommendations would be great . thanks in advance

    i have double netted all my aviary panels so i have a 3/4" gap in between the outside and inside mesh , worked so far

    hi guys , after some advice the wife just found this on the landing and the markings on the back do look like a skull . my question is are my kids and dogs safe in the house , is there likely tobe more running around here .

    they are stunners and the cock does sing nice but i just had too many , hoping to get another aviary/bird room done for spring time , the hint of red in the others just adds variety

    even my green canaries now have a hint of red but i find the orlux easier to feed to them and there is very little wastage with it , hope the birds are settling in ok

    hi all i have decided to cut down on the number of canaries i have so i have a pair of 2012 red factor canaries and a pair of 2012 red /black cobalts both pairs have bred this year and are closed rung . would like to swap for pairs of finches or some breeding cages or sell the red factors for £40 and the red/blacks for £30 . collection from near saffron walden on the herts / essex / cams border

    i keep red factors and use a ready mixed red egg food made by orlux ( £6.25 a kilo ) that i feed to all my birds every other day , i have to mix it with a little water to a crumbly consistency however it does give the other coloured birds a red hue including the zebra finches

    i use an indoor rabbit / guinae pig cage with a brinsea electric hen , easy to clean and the electric hen is cheap to use , good luck with your hatching

    thanks guys appreciate its like asking how long is a piece of string , if i get one it will be newwith nothing done to it just wanted to know if people would use a springer as opposed to a pcp for night shooting and if the calibre makes a difference sound wise . dont want to mess with filling gear if there is no need and a springer will do the same job

    hi all i would like to get the hw97kt but was wondering if it would be quiet enough to go out at night with a lamp fitted for rabbits also is there any difference volume wise between .177 and .22 . at present i have a stoeger x20 which can be heard at quite a distance dont really want a pcp if the hw is good for the job thanks in advance

    hi dave its a claw trap bought from local garden centre they were £4 each , didn't expect to catch him that quickly , no new mounds overnight so hopefully he was on his own .

    morning all , have caught my first ever mole in a trap i set yesterday (well chuffed) my question is do i set the trap again in the same hole today , will there be more in my back garden or are they solitary thanks in advance .

    thanks for all the replies , we have been walking the dogs together but letting them off seperately the pup still tries it on but is slowly getting the message , i have to walk off leaving him with my wife or son and we take turns calling him otherwise he just sticks like glue to our side whereas the older dog goes and does his thing . anyone have any advice on him being so greedy he wont chew his food just swallows and always trying to rob from the shed or bin , he is fed on skinners ruff n ready ?

    thanks guys think i might give a muzzle ago as dont want him grabbing someone else's dog , if i walk him on his own he dont want to go thats why i take the whippet with him any suggestions ?
