  1. Fucks sake it gets worse on here
  2. WTF??? Have you read the bit about not going to ground? Or is thart a wind up? WTF??? You said beddy??? Yes i have read it. Have you heard of recall? I owned a spot on Patterdale that never actually went to ground and if it did, he returned to my call every time. I've known all kind of Terriers that go to ground though, including patts and beddys. Some that were lost for days on end too. I've witnessed spaniels run off, A dog is what you make it. Put the effort into any dog and you will get rewards... Loads of people on this forum will advise all types of breads. Tbh it so
  3. Cheers gent. Im looking for a spaniel X terrier bitch or simliar if any one sees a litter please let me know.
  4. Dont forget some of the opinions are from people like you, so utterly worthless. Im always happy to learn about dogs from other people, Infact the purpose of sites like these are so groups of like minded people can share infomation and experiences. As you have not offered anything constructive, why don't you go and complain about someone else's thread?

  6. Youve got a lot of mouth for someone with 12 posts This is the same site mate just a different section, As the topic is relevent in both sections as it involves lurchers and potentially terriers i thought it prudent to ask in both sections. Some of the lurcher lads never venture into the terrier section and vice versa. Iv asked my mam she says its fine, I think you should ask your's to teach you some manner's, now run along you scamp.
  7. Iv put this in the lurcher section aswell but thought it might get more results here., Im thinking about getting a little bushing bitch to work along side my lurcher bitch. Iv been thinking about allsorts of different breeds. Basically i want a dog that will hunt through any cover moving rabbits (and anything else) for the lurcher. I was thinking about a larger type terrier such as a Bedlington. Iv been thinking about Spaniels too!!! Cocker, springer or sprocker? (stupid name that) and even a Tekel! What i dont want is a dog that will go nose down and set off on a line not to be seen for
  8. beagul russel Have you had one? Im worried about it going nose down arse up and dissapearing off on a scent, Im thinking more spaniel cross as I believe they work closer in.

  15. Its not a Baikal, if it was this would'nt have happened. Its an old Big Notti, but apart from some bruisers it was fine... or so i thought.
  16. I believe it was a stuck plaswad, that did it, The gun didnt feel right on the shot before, i opened it blow the smoke out and could see daylight I thought through the smoke....... as it was fairly dusk it could have been a wad. No injuries were sustained apart from to my boxers when i saw what had happened.
  17. Well from a ferrets point of view its not too much but from a social aspect spending half an hour per hour all day is a little bonkers and i bet your hands stink... A couple of times a day is fine.
  18. Get your ferrets hand tame first mate, handle them every day after they have been fed, Talk to them so they learn your voice because their eyesight is not so good they dont know whats trying to pick them up. I have my ferret hutch near my kennel so the dogs see the ferrets daily and eventually pretty much ignore them, gently introduce them to your dog, don't just let them all out together.... Hold the ferret and let the dog sniff it, if the dogs the timid type and sharp "no" should give him the idea, if not a water pistol works well. Then let the ferret run loose but hold the dog (waterpist
