hi, im a fabricator, i usualy make people 6x3 box section panels with 2" mesh, i make the with all the same holes so they all fit eachother so you can add as many as you want together to make any size run you want, the only problem is that i dont galvanise them as i have closed my account down with the galvanisers because they where too expensive, and these days you can get paint that is just as good as galv, also, if i say you will have them by a certain date - you WILL get them! hassle free how many panels where you after of this size? door? and i'll give you a price regards chri

Heres the other picture of it, I thought i had deleted this one. as you can see its not infact bigger than my boot!!! Its amazing even with photographic proof im lying to myself. Anyway i have measured my boot 12 1/2" Im saying the rat is about 11" and its tail about 8 or 9" so im calling mine and moxys joint leaders so far....

Just thought id share this with you...We have all heard the stories of rats as big as cats Here is a picture of the biggest rat iv ever seen, and iv seen a few. I didnt measure it but it was longer than my size 12 welly excluding the tail. Caught it on a pig farm where the rats have a constant food supply, they dont even need to forage

Well its all gone tits up again, I tried again tonight not lamping just working on recall. He spotted a bunny, straight back to square one. I got the ball out he glanced back as if to say "f**k your ball theres rabbits about" I must admit i gave him a clout when he did come back. Ill just keep trying.

The dog has had training his recall is spot on unless there is game about. There was no other way than to try him and see what i was up against. I have never seen this problem before So i thought id ask. As for the shock collar, not for me that method. As it is i have taken the advice and had him out today in an area that holds rabbit purly to work on his recall. I took a ball with me and when he started hunting and ignoring I coaxed him back and we played with the ball. I feel me and the dog have made positive progress today and i will try again tomorrow. Cheers for the replies lads.

Right And how does that stop him hunting on? He not not caught owt yet so retrieving is the least of my worries. Thanks anyway mate.

I have bought a new dog to replace my bedlington that i lost a the other week. 12 month old first X wheaton grey. I gave him a week to get use to me and to asses his training, no problems with stock and his recall seems spot on. So I tried him on the lamp last night, First rabbit about yard slip didnt think he would see it but he pulled at it, Fantastic course then bunny made it to a wall and jumped it so did the dog then nothing he just disappeared and hunted on and on and on, Deaf to all commands. finally I saw him belting down the field putting all other rabbits to ground then he c

Just a word of warning i send this bloke £85 over a week ago for an item he was selling on here its never turned up. I have just found out he also sold the same item to another member who has also sent payment. He is not repling to either of our PMs or Emails. If anyone knows this bloke please PM me his address. That website is about old fashioned lurchers mate. Bedlington crosses are old fashioned types to and there are some good ones about. What do you want the dog to do? What dog have you got now? whats it doing wrong??
