    to be honest i was just testing the water i like my magnum its quiet.accurate an pretty cheap to run good to bout 125 yards on charlie ,most of my shootins with a mate hes got a tikka light in 22/250 with a t8mod on it,so anything out to bout 350 yards pretty much belongs to us ,am really in two minds about this one ,wish i never phoned fpo lol ,

    phoned my firearms officer today asked whats the chances of getting a 22 250 on an open ticket ,he said no bother but id need to get rid of my 22 magnum cause its got fox on it ,not give me 2 guns for fox a suppose the 22 250 will do everything that my magnum does ,,

    hi all got a phone call about a woman losing chickens to a charley so after going out 4 times at all hours finally get the fox take it round her house to show her an she stands there looking at us as if were stupid,finally she says thats the wrong fox one you were to shoots only got half a tail, the cheek o some people ,a was gob smacked to say the least ,the fox wee got weighed in at 38lb a big dog,an she asked when youse coming back ,,

    if you can take a look at a remington model SEVEN comes in 20 in barrel 1 in 12 twist should manage 55g bullets fine mines does 1in at 100 yards no bother you might need to get it screwcut but i got mine in synthetic with stainless barrel in 223 cal for 400 ,cheers stuart

    when you say problems on transport do you mean ferrys etc ,as far as that goes lock the gun up securly in boot an take the bolt with you my mates take guns across to ireland shooting every year,no problems so far ,sorry im presuming you have a moter that is

    sort of figured that main reason i chose it was its weight or rather lack of it i tend to do a load of walking when im out wi the lamp,i went for a synthetic an stainless one,easy to keep clean am a lazy bugger an a got it for a good price which helps,ps no magazines to loose dont know how many ive lost for my cz in 22 ill need to get the barrell shot in then were off .cheers stuart

    hi folks ive just bought a remington model seven in 223 i dont want to get it screw cut as i want be using a moderator all the time so was wondering if its possible to get one that slips over the barrel ,if so where from an how much thanks stuart..

    hi mate i beleve you can get a rugar 10/22 with out the rifle but it finishes at the pistol grip,with a short barrell on it ,it could be just the thing,your looking for..stuart

    hi mate dont worry about what chokes in it ,unless your shooting steel shot ,dont think your supposed to shoot steel through any thing over half choke,if your no on it youll no kill it no matter what chokes just get out an enjoy shooying it,,cheers stuart

    i bought a zabala sbys 30 in barrells takes up to 3an half inch shells bit heavy an longer than normal,but it hits what ever i point it at all me mates laughed at first,dont laugh so much now ,best 60 quid ive spent in a long time..

    [thanks lads,think ill be going with the 223,ive got a mate with a 22/250 so if anythings a bit far ,well use that the rifles just for foxys,not really intrested in deer,saying that the 223 legal for roe deer in scotland,i think ill check,places i shoot only have roe on them,no reds ,sitka or anything ive had a few foxys with my 22,more with the shotgun,whats the cost of rounds for the 223 ,thank you stuart

    hi ive spoke to firearms officer a bout a variation,its a rifle for the foxys im after,whats the maximum range on a 22magnum,i wont be shooting past,about 180 max,ive got a 22 rimfire an 12 bore just now,but was looking at adding something else to my cabinit,i can get up to a 243 if i want it,also whats the range difference,between ,222,,223,,
