    well folks its me mum and dads silver wedding anniverasy and they do a lot of walking in there twilight years and i am after a small type jack russel pup aint got to be out of no top lines or working earth dogs just a nice little russel it will be well looked after and will live in the house believe me it will want for nothing theyve had terriers and spaniels all there life but only have a old pat terrier who is on her last legs at a good old age of twelve any litters known of please pm me as i really want to get them one this is no ploy and is genuine a smooth coat would be prefered any help

    i have actually seen a very good bitch do this when turned in if she got on and then showed breifly at the hole she would not show again you could guarantee there was more than one when i first seen this happen i thought what most lads would think and the owner new this himself he said to me that there will be more than one broke through and he was bang right you could put this down to luck but i seen it with my own eyes many times and seeing is believing if there was just the one she would not show but more and she would come to the mouth of the hole and shoot straight back and stay its a mad

    not talking about 1 cert dog iam talking about terriers in general, the years ive worked terriers never have i had 1 that couldnt find. ive had plenty that have failed for other reasons but not because they couldnt use their nose, from pups they are treated like 1 of the family not locked away til they are 14or 15 months, heard many say "that dog cant find" on a earth when they should be saying "doesnt want to find" just wanted some other views on this. i think it is a case of some being entered to young and this goes for older dogs to they have had a hard dig that as made them very weary

    i agree with this seen some good dogs look not so good on other things swings n roundabouts you couldnt take the best coursing dog and expect it to be the best in other fields there are dogs that shine at paticular things atb ks

    is that the one with the colliexs on that when the fox turns they let go and soon as it moves again grab hold two dogs circling a fox ha ha ha ha f**king classic the only good thing that film shows is they have good noses but no balls ha ha ha ks Different dogs do things differently, as long as the fox ends up dead, it doesn't really matter if the dog goes for a better hold, rather than ragging it about by the arse. it even puts it in slow motion just incase you miss how ha ha good they are they have good noses i agree and they cover some ground but when they catch it well dont know

    if it is a collie based lurcher it is common in merles look on the search engine on here and have a look at some of the collie crosses atb ks

    Neil-Cmon man...a failed fox dog made a badger dog? There is no way, and it dont matter if they failed on fox here or there, I dont believe they would make a badger dog either place. I think as Stuntman said, the odds that folks here were really digging badger enough to call it a "badger dog" is very unlikely. Almost all the US folks that talk of badger have never actually layed eyes on one, and fewer still have ever had a dog on one, let alone a proper dig to one, IMO. I probably caught more badger than 99% of US terriermen, and I wouldnt call myself a terrierman, or say I ever owned a badger

    kneeling down when ferriting and turned around caught my head on the low strand of electric fencing i at last saw the light my mum was ever so proud and went to a terrier show after borrowing a tent off a mate got dropped off at the show went to put the tent up it was like looking up at the stars from inside it had little holes in it everywhere rung my mate as soon as he answered i knew he was pissing himself laughing luckily some good lads from sunderland lent us a little tent all turned out good had a good night with them lads couldnt even remember getting in the tent the next morning good c

    i go out the odd time through the summer on a few local grass fields 1 cause i get bored out my head 2 the dogs start getting a bit keen and edgey with each other and 3 if and when i want to its got f**k all to do with any one else thats the trouble on here to many people wondering and wanting to know what others are doing atb ks

    bolted a fox out of one earth straight into another earth just across the field it was a one holer turned the bitch in went in came back out now this bitch is 100% so she puzzled us to say the least any way box on she was go to the same place but she wasnt on decided to dig down to the mark to see what was happening and for piece of mind when we broke through the bitch was facing down but wouldnt go any further pulled her out the tube was fully submerged under water we could only guess that the fox must of gone under the water and either come out further in the earth where it was dry or maybe
