Binocular harness, what d'you recommend?
Caprelous replied to Tyla's topic in Deer Stalking & Management
There are obviously cheaper ones on the market but you did ask for advice so there was no need to buy twice mate I was just pointing you to the best in my view. I must admit I cant justify the price personally at the moment but when i am in a position to these would be the ones i would buy. Alternative to buy but not a lot cheaper than the Harkila you might like these http://www.zimbio.com/Hunting+And+Shooting/articles/KcK1QFap-Do/Binocular+Harness+LockDown+Optics+Deployment Stu -
Correction only a stupid cruel uneducated cnut of disputed parentage who has no consideration or concern for his quarry and needs to be brought to account for his her.their actions, I think I did say words to that effect in a more polite way in my initial reply to the OP. though. Stu

An Arab had spent many days crossing the desert without finding a source of water. It got so bad that his camel died of thirst. He crawled through the sands, certain that he was breathing his last breath, when suddenly, he saw a shiny object sticking out of the sand several yards ahead of him. He crawled to the object, pulled it out of the sand, and discovered that he had a Manischewitz wine bottle. It appeared that there may be a drop or two left in the bottle, so he unscrewed the top, and out popped a genie. BUT this was no ordinary Genie. This genie appeared to be a

Brilliant maybe in future they will spend some of the money they have obtained from there misguided members of the Joe Public in treating their TB captivated park herd of deer thats suffering that they wish to keep quite about instead of going into misappropriated expenses http://www.skyshot.c..._bwm/league.php

Stu I too hold the same views. As do a great many others. Hence the wide spread and growing antipathy as I mentioned earlier. Although for me coursing deer is totally unjustifiable be it it daylight or under cover of darkness, whether the perpetrator /s have permission to be on the land or otherwise. Although a point to be remembered is that by granting permission renders the landowner liable for prosecution under the Hunting Act 2004. I like you, if anyone can point me in the direction of an alternative POV that isn't based upon inaccuracies, has some basis other than its traditional

The Lady Golfer. A group of guys lived and died for their Saturday morning round of golf. One transferred to another city. It wasn't the same without him. A new woman joined their Club. She overheard the guys talking about their golf round. She said, "You know, I used to play on my golf team in college and I was pretty good. Would you mind if I joined you next week?" The three guys looked at each other. Not one of them wanted to say 'yes', but she had them on the spot. Finally, one man said it would be okay, but they would be starting early - at 6:30 a.m. He figured the e

I have to say not all those who run dogs are guilty of such an act but unfortunately for others there seems to be an attitude that poaching deer using dogs during the hours of darkness , on land they dont have permission to be on is an acceptable thing to do. First and foremost its in non compliance of the law , causing suffering in the manner I describe in my post above. I think any true sportsman irrespective of the legal situation cannot but agree other than such actions are unacceptable, in my view any one who champions there cause otherwise cannot bring the hunting/stalking/shooting f

Just notify your constabulary head quarters that you have authority to shoot there and wish for it to be included on your certificate They will then make the relevant safety checks etc and other criteria , they will then notify you for you to send in your FAC for amendment if everything comes back ok and they will write in such on your current certificate all the details and conditions and return it to you and it should be free of charge as no extra firearms or ammunition extras are involved. simple

Wanted Wanted Shooting Buddy/Permission
Caprelous replied to andycase007's topic in Shooting Opportunities
Not exactly true my stalking actually only cost me little In fact I work my passage as it was. In return for carrying out Wild Life Maintainance opening up rides and knocking back bracken etc i am given a place on the shoot as before due to it being over grown and unstalkable it is now open and deer control can now take place as before it could not so my rewards have been earned, I can take who I like and when I like for no fee the only condition thats imposed that if a person I take on a regular basis wishes to continue he or she must help in the work of the wildlife Program helping to clea -

Well BASC wrote to me last week asking for further funds to help promote introducing young persons into the sport and with me being as tight as cramp money wise , some say i am as tight as a fishes arse but sometimes it lets a bit of water in and i got thinking as you do instead of donating money which could go absolutely anywhere swallowed up in administration etc . to do something actually positive and as i feel stalking needs some younger chaps involved i would actually get them involved and interested in a way and what better to take a youngster out especially a lad very much local and sh -
