  2. Ye won't get much avice on catching moles and the advice from the books is crap because the ones writing the books obviously haven't been very good at it otherwise they wouldn't have to write a book to get some dosh Good mole catchers aren't very easy to come by because ye really have t be on the ball to do well and theres a couple of lads on here that really are at the top of there game ( no names mentioned  ) :11: I also don't have the faintessed idea on catching moles Smudge
  3. Had me pup out tday and got a few pics of him bein a mad dog. Got him jumpin well now even if he does look supernatural on the photo A blair witch moment Played a bit of hide and seek Spyed some deer ears had a mad minute Found some quier smellin water Chillin All in all, a canny day

  5. Perch are great fish to catch. I don't often get chance to fish for them with spinners as the waters i fish that have them have a spinner ban. Still a nice juicy lobworm works just the same Smudge

  12. Ive got a 3/4 grey 1/4 beardie and hes turnin out great. Hes clever and picks things up quicky and hes gettin real fast. Hes had a couple of rabbits and retrieved a mixy from the lake the other day, startin t get him stock broken now Smudge
  13. Fair enough i can take your point but on the matter of steel shot for wildfowl we have had more injured geese walking around since this law came in that ever before. I know that the purpose of this law is to stop toxicating waters with lead but there is side effects as there always is. Smudge
  14. The shot pattern is a hell of alot better than the pattern on bb's ie, ye have more chance of hittin and killin the fox. Fair enough use a heavier load but it ye using sixes theres less holes in the pattern. You can just as easily injure a fox wi BB's as ye can wi 6's. Smudge
  15. mini mags or magnums do the job at a bit more range. I just tend to use the same cartridge as you would anything else like 30 - 32 grm 5-6's or 36grm at a push. Just make sure ye hit em in the right place and it doesn't really matter what you use(within reason) Smudge
  16. Unless hes got a huge feckn alotment, thats not gonna be practical now is it
