A good friend of mine is going down the route of breeding a litter of beddy greys. He's found a beddy stud dog that is doing the job as in actual earth work. how many lads on here have 1st cross beddy greys and whats your thoughts on them?
Another 2 I had, both done what was asked of them. The fawn bitch had some fire in her belly, unfortunately lost her to a broken neck. Good feet and a good jacket on them the way a lurcher should be.
The old dog in the pic above has done everything asked of him and more, he loved getting out with the terriers and getting on the sharp end once we broke through. I wish i had another like him
Good stuff, I am looking to put my GWP over a greyhoud to get a base for breeding. I have seen a couple of half crosses work and i was happy with what i seen.
My old dog is like that, he is mute. He kills alot of his quarry, the younger stuff i have and friends have are more the bayer/mix type but get the job done well.
A lot of keepers have them down here on the moor, like said above they have a bit more drive and stamina than your lab. The ones i have seen do whats asked of them and manage well in the beating line 6 days a week.
