  8. last thing you should be thinking off, collars and slip leads ,even know strong stuff makes the best.your dogs only 7 weeks, get a cheap 1 for now and then about 6 month get yoursef a decent 1 ,
  9. never had what i would call a decent all-rounder,they may well have excelled in one discipline but only half heartedly taken to another, plenty lads talk of the perfect all-rounder i mean the question is asked often enough but to me is there really such a dog?...........i think probably not if truth be known, what with different dogs bred for different jobs and so on. surely an all-rounder must be capable of taking all quarry no matter what, work day and night, with ferrets, long nets, gun and hawks etc etc.......never come across one yet and the day i do then the owner of it must have some seriou
  10. cocker or springer ,but if i was thinking of a terrier ,it would have 2 be a border
  11. i,m in the same boat mate ,i thought i bred my bitch at the right time for the pups 2 come on,ready for the hunting season like i said 2 you before ,before this bad weather came he was doing great now i want 2 built on that its like hitting a do,nt normally do it i think i,ll be doing abit in the spring/summer months just 2 get him more experience for next season ,so it looks like this season going 2 be along 1
