  1. and how would you advise on how to learn your dog to handle a other dogs, since your an expert on the subject is it not that the dog learns through time mostly by himself and by being taught by his owner socialising off and on the lead with the other dogs or do you read yours the dog training book at night
  2. Jesus wept Troy - DON'T DO IT! Just ignore her, she's insane and she talks complete bollocks. It's probably not a great thing that dog is roaming about unsupervised. If that were my bitch he'd had a go at, there'd have been a massive bust up - and I've have been well angry about it. If it'd been my whippet he'd have probably humped the fooker right back But it seems to me the vizla wasn't right bothered, he was just playing. To be honest I found your hysterical giggling much funnier than the humping yep just playing he was!! if he knew what he was doing he prob's have tried the
  3. ethyl you don't wank well tell us what you do maybe i'll get a kick out of that, as for "hit first" it would only be doing what your dogs do by the sounds of it, "attacks a kid" that you do gooders imagining the future again maybe you'll manage to get a ban on staffies next, and you say a little laugh like this isn't taking care of my dog( have you seen an un looked after dog?)anyway i'm a 27 year old male post me a pic, we can meet up, maybe i'll be able to look after you a bit better lol x x

  8. was it a crufts dog lol or a top coursing dog roberto cause i've seen some cracking looking fit dogs who were not worth a carrot but would fetch top dollar at auction based on looks as i'm sure every coursing man has been out with people who's dogs don't look much but once slipped total machines as the saying goes looks can be decieving

    hunting ban

ban is is just a word it means fk all to me and as for antis i would have no hesitation to let my dog off on them never mind anything else
  13. i know its not bred for this but my 10 month old viszla caught his first rabbit in an open field hunted it up and caught it after the 1st turn needless to say im well chuffed just wondering if you think a viszla has the temperament to take a fox (he's suppose to be my girlfriends pet lol)
  14. imo the earlier the better try take him out with an experienced dog he will learn much faster also gets all the bad trates out earlier (like wanting to play with other dogs)he will soon know his job imo you can't do the pup any harm taking him lamping on rabbits from 8 month upwards it's all a learning curve
  15. think theres only 1 way to clarify the issue of stamina give him the ultimate test for a working lurcher for speed/stamina 15 month you say should be as good as ready to tackle the mighty he's obviously killing rabbit no probs yeah
  16. depends what you mean by good runs mate and on what
  17. your exactly right mate some people just talk crap great dogs that they wont take out, i would let my dog tackle a grizzly lol
  18. from edinburgh mate yeah do know some terrier men so probs better to go with them. we were planning going ourselves incase the dog runs a mile save the embarassment lol no locator and 2 rookies maybe it is better i get the terrier man show us the ropes!!!!!!!!! cheers
  19. not exactly an expert with terriers as you'll realise from this post (have a lurcher) but my mate has a little patterdale dog which he wants to take out, bearing in mind this is the dogs first outing of anykind any tips on how we should go about it or do we just put him straight in at the deep end, my mates convinced he'll be able to do the job or at least not shy away. the dog is a proper little nutcase (with cats anyway lol) so i don't doubt him myself !!!! also he would rather start him in a hole that is not to deep, is there any way of telling the depth? we are both complete novices and ha
