Every other f****r does it mate, don't worry! What makes me laugh is young 'uns just starting out, coming on and asking advice on everything. 3 months later they're speaking like they've got 25 years experience in the field and answering newbies same questions! Just watched and read the comments from last time this was posted, fair enough people have admitted being abit harsh on the guy last time, After further educating them selves on body shots and being more experienced now from when the original comments were made. but reading those makes me feel alot better about my original comments, seems as tho plenty of people agreed back then, Im on this site to learn from the older more experienced shots on here, of which i will be thankful as i have already learned loads in the short time ive been on here from you guys. I disagree. I have pulled off some very unorthodox shots, but most, if not all have been good clean kills. If you know where the vitals are on your quarry and can hit them cleanly then its possible to kill the quarry instantly or as near as instantly. I have often taken spinal shots on quarry, when a full on brain shot has not been possible. I see that you are a SGC holder, how often will you get a clean brain shot when shooting ducks etc in flight? I am NOT trying to pick an argument, just pointing out that there ARE more options than just the brain to ensure a quick clean humane de

Actually it follows Si's advice to the letter Phantom Ive been shooting for a good few years and i know about trajectory at over 45 degrees, but if your honest, then some, if not most of his shots were poor

There was nothing wrong with that shooting. What most people forget WHEN SHOOTING UP A STEEP ANGLE you MUST aim LOW for the pellet to hit where you want to. Yes the guy did take some obviously low shots, like the one where the crosshair was on its arse. but I bet that particular shot took out the birds heart and it was dead before it hit the ground. Phantom Agree with that phantom, i just thought 50% of the shots were abit "sloppy" (for want of a better word)

You have just basically agreed with me there, if in your opinion this clip could be used as "ammo" then that would suggest that you think there is some thing wrong with the shooting in it??

I say it because if he is good enough to take head shots then why not take head shots??, im sorry but ive watched every video si pittaway has made and he is one of the best shots with an air rifle i have seen, and this goes against everything si teaches in his videos doesnt it?? Maybe the title was abit strong lol

ok fair enough you seem to know best, i was just saying because i was watching the quarry not concentrating on the cross hairs of the sight and plenty seemed to drop instantly to the shot,f**k it il have to watch it again now Maybe im just in a bad mood lol But it would of been nice to see a few head shots?? And id say there was a few birds that had to be shot again (off camera)

Theres winging something and then theres purposely aiming for chest and even "belly" he diddnt once attempt a headshot, seems he was just happy with hitting the bird, i must be watching a different vidoe to you as for the "standing" excuse....................Sit on the floor if your finding it hard Not trying to sound "funny" by the way bud, but come on, thats bordering on the cruel side to me. each to their own i guess, everybodys entitled to their oppinion.

haha, some good answers, how true abouit the t.v lol hullhunter i have a flowing through front room and dining room and then a set of french doors leading out into a 40 yard long garden so if i need it i have a range of 60+ yards to plink in lol wish my lass would join me andy, she'd probs out shoot me all day long

Cheers lads, the ferret gets the doves mate, to little meat for the ammount of work put into preparing them lol plus the feathers make good bedding so they arnt goin to waste bud, and yeah its a great permission, even got a lake thats packed with ducks for when i take the shotty for a play, not many rabbits though.

Surely we are already paying right?? cost of pellets and fuel to get to the land, if landowners started to charge, youd probally be looking at £20 a day costs to use your rifle.
