    Hi pal Best pellets are round heads - air arms, jsb, fx & daystate are all made be the same company jsb and comr in 2 different head sizes 5.51/5.52. Set a target at 25m and zero your scope to this range, practice hitting a 1" size circle ( 2p coin ) and then practice at all ranges up to 50m in 5m increments so you get to know your holdover/under.     So i thought i would take my new rifle out today to christen her - after some pellet testing i settled for bisley mags ( .177 ). Then off i went to zero at a nearby farm which hasnt got much going on at the minute. After 10mins i was happy and started testing my holdover at different ranges - they fly quite flat for a heavier pellet! 15mins later i arrived at my main rabbit permission - the owner was working so not as many out as there normally is for a beautiful day, saw a few in the distance but hopped on their way.     these are the neweset model stocks withe the different style butt. i got it from a very well know gun shop i really cant see it being a copy - but u got me worried now lol. did ppl make copies?? atb scott

    hey pal ive just had this exact same dilemma 2day. i went for the hw100kt as the build of it is flawless aswell as the the two mags and silencer as standard. also the magazine on the daystate is shite in my opinion ( its just too complicated ) i did a quick chrono of the hw100 and the fps differential was 10FPS!!! hope you make the right choice - i know i did! atb scott

    Put it through a chrono. Also if its been regged by tench or btas it would do double the shots.

    hey all i am picking up my new hw100tk at the end of the week and i am wondering what pellets othr people are using?? please include heavy pellets as will propbably use these more. thanks scott

    Whats wrong with the hawke?? The map6 reticle isnt the best. I would suggest getting a mildot reticle and getting the scope with a parralax adjustment! Hawke are very good quality and are good prices. Atb Scott
