  1. Agree with all your words Stabs. You are a very good writter, you should think of writting a book. Cheers
  2. I dont have balls as I am a woman... I did a mistake by thinking that you were gentlemen enough to understand my point, and also clever enough but when I read your last comments, I understand that I just lost my time, and have nothing to do on this thread anymore. Well sirs (If I can still call you like that) Have a nice day, and please continue to make you look like fools and continue like that. At least even if those stories are not my buisness, buy reading your posts, your comments and the way you treat a woman on a board, I know to who I am talking to and for sure you are not my kind o
  3. yes this is an open board, and this allows me also to say that you guys are pathetic to get into private life and compare people to hitler. Now if you don't want to see that it is your issue not mine. But can you please then explain to me, what does this sentence and Hitler have to do with dogs, hunting and the thread????? Please argue, I am open to read, on an open board lol.... Do you really need this to be taken seriously? if yes then I don't need to go deeper in the conversation, I have my opinion all made and no need to know you better...
  4. Lol no I didn't get a puppy from him I am not into patterdales at all. I am not trying to defend him as I think he doesn't need me for that. Actually I didn't say anything about your drama stories. You know, in all breeds, all sports, you have many many stories, and I still laugh a lot when I read some (dont say that I laugh a lot by reading this one) but most of the time it is only childish or too much testosterone lol. A lot of people think that their dogs is their virility extension and this makes me laugh a lot. Here this was not the point, here it makes me sick to see a man compared
  5. This has nothing to do with dogs, this is really pathetic, and this really makes me sick! Really when I read this, I don't have to go too far, to make my opinion on what kind of man can write this on a Hunting board. This is really small, pathetic.... The rest of the thread, all the stories around dogs, is one thing, actually it is only stories around dogs! And I really don't care about it, but I had to make a comment on this sentence, it makes me really sad for you guys, to go that deep and that far just for a dog story...     And compare hi
  6. like others I really like the type of your dog and he seems a good worker.
  7. and you seem to live not very far from me. It could be nice to meet or hunt together someday!

  8. I like your comments and your posts, full of honesty and experience. I am also a woman and I do also hunt boars and dig badgers. Nice to read from you.

  9. Here where I live, the digging season for badgers will start on the 15th of may... And can't wait to start again! For the fox it is the whole year but with my team we had a break during winter time and we should start again very soon as it is open.
  10. This is only the difference btwn a terrierman and a hunter... To answer to the question a hunter will not need a hard dog or will think it is useless as he wants to hunt everyday. A terrierman is not really into hunting purpose but more into working his dogs and have fun with them. He will like the hard one and will enjoy to have a big heart dog at his home... And like said someone else with no hard dog you loose working dogs at the end. It is also usefull to many reasons but don't have the english words to explain sorry.
  11. All my respect then.. Hope to follow your way. And I have to agree on each word you say, this is also my point of view. Would be nice to meet you one day.
  12. Again it depends where you want to live and go. Some regions are more strict and some not. You have to be very friendly with the hunting guys around your house and town, invite them to have a nice dinner and of course with a nice wine, participate to some hunting partys and so on... But I red somewhere that you want to go close to Bergerac then I am sure you will find some ex pat close to you to help you finding the right people French people like good food and good wine especially in the south if you are open friendly and you try to participate to the life of your community it should be ok
  13. Hello Where are you going in France? If you want to dig the fox, it is easy to find a good digging team and here it is allow to dig the fox during the whole year they are too many. Regarding the badger it depends where you want to go and when, some regions are full of badgers and some not. The hunting season is normally from may to september but can end to january sometimes. According to terrier men already based in France, it is heaven for hunting badgers. And a part from the region and the season, there is no restrictions but the best is to know already the people who dig in the regi
  14. Thanks for sharing, they are some great pictures on this thread! Keep up the good work and keep posted it is always nice to see how people from different part of the world do hunt in their countries.
  15. For sure they are strong lil dogs but also hard mouth! Nice looking dogs Sylvain, and they are not only good looking dogs but very good working dogs!
  16. Ok then we don't have in mind the same owner of staffords and I guess I know who you are referring to don't know how active is this man. But for sure he is not the man I was refering to.
  17. I think thats a bit of a broad generalisation, i know a lot of guys involved in the Athletic side of things, they are more than clued up on what "heart" means, just choose to channel their dogs enthusiasm into Athletic pursuits. There will undoubtably be people involved in the Athletic stuff that are 100% focused on looks and as you say the dogs performance over an A frame. However there is also the boys that have been there and done it, and now choose to have a bit of fun with their staffords, causing no harm to anyone else. Here there is a big difference between a sporting
  18. Have to agree on that statement. Someone said "in Holland they have good staffords". Good for what? Good because they sprint faster, they climb higher? Those people tried to change the stafford into a sort of mini apbt, but they forgot the most important, the working abilities, the heart! They didn't even understand what is a real apbt, for sure not a conformation dog, and for sure not a sportive athlete at first, but a big heart dog as the patterdale is and how do you show this ability? On working them. They also think that a growling dog on a leash is a hell temperament dog lol lol lol,
  19. Thanks for sharing Stabs, always nice to see pictures of your bitch.
  20. WTF is that trash thread lol Please people get a life for godsake! Don't you have anything more interesting to do in the real life? like HUNTING I mean REAL HUNTING, not pretending HUNTING on internet. I am not in the hunting since a long time but boy, it seems that many people don't really know what they are talking about. Jon you worth better than that don't even reply to this, don't loose your time. Believe me it is all the same everywere (jaleous people, people who don't have a life, internet pretenders or those who know everything about everything but never seen anything lol.
  21. Ha ha not even true (mais venant de toi je le prends d'autant plus pour un compliment). I will organize next year a nice digging week end and I hope you will come with your father. Driving I think more or less 6/7 hours ,but you are always welcome in my house! And we have a lot to do in here and most of them are easy digging!
