  3. Hi folkes Well my lad has just rang me this morning and his dog is back to square one same symtoms 3rd time now thats after being on steroids, antibiotics, for 5 weeks i think the kindest thing to do is pts she is spending more time at the vets than she is at home.

  8. Me lad went to reload but thankfully the bullet would not engage if the projectile had gone any further up the barrel it could of been nasty has you say. The weather was nice and sunny and warm, barrel was clear and it was cleaned prior to going out. The bullet must of been faulty thats the only thing i can think of. sound like what you said (dead mans click) Thanks for info.

  11. No mate the case did not split, it was has if it had been fired and left the projectile in the barrel, but there was still powder in the casing that why i buried it.

  13. Out today for a shoot and the lads 17 hmr misfired,the bullet seperated pushing the projectile just in the barrel about 3/4". I managed to put the cleaning rod down the and ram it out would this do any real damage.??? I buried the rest of the bullet under the headge in the field.
  14. mine gets chicken wing,tinned sardines in sunflower oil, minced beef, veg, liver, and beta greyhound dried, and if i say so my self she is in fantastic condition.

  22. train him in a confined space not in a big open area, and don't do to much, little and often. younger the better. Then progress to open areas when your sure he his ready, don't rush him. Make it fun.
  23. Hi Moll thats one thing i would not do let it her suffer, at the moment she has picked up well on the medication. Ive told my lad if she goes down hill again after the medication he should seriously think about putting her to sleep,its a shame but i don't believe that you should keep them alive by keeping them on medication,its not fair on them.
