    cheers for the replys, i have just sent them a e-mail to have 4 farms check out none of them have been passed for firearms seen how long it takes them. Would be better giving me a open ticket.

    rang the firearms licening department tuesday to find out if some land has been passed for 17 hmr its gone automated carn't speak to a human being any more on the phone, so rang the fao answer phone left message still not got back intouch with me, so it looks like it will have to be a letter, what the world coming to. when aplying to have land checked for firearms do you have to pay ???

    clever dog whats the point of running the beam if theres nothing there, you might see it but get down to the dogs level and have a look, he has got to learn to trust in you so sending him off after fresh air is a no no, at the end of the day he is still young and you are just confusing him.

    you can shoot any land deemed suitable by the chief constable for that area and that calibre unless things have changed check with your local fire arms dept none of the land has been passed no one has ever shot on there with rifles its only a 17 hmr i have

    i applied for my open ticket and all i have had back is this letter the main 4 things they ask for are 1 RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONS 2 WORK RELATED USE OF FIREARMS IN PEST CONTROL 3 APPROPRIATE PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE 4 WRITTEN TESTIMONY OF COMPETENCE AND DECISION MAKING iam a member of the basc so number 3 is covered i have written permission of all the farms for the use of shotgun and rifle. so my question is how would you chaps answer these questions ??? cheers airbourne

    only gave her a sedative not a general, i could not leave her there she would rip the place apart to get to me she's a one man dog, last time i left her there to have her dew claws removed they rang me up to fetch her 5mins after the opperation they could not put up with her

    my bitch had a little accident 2 weeks ago chaseing a tree rat, put a 2 inch rip in her leg so took her to the vets just had the bill £619 i know it was a sunday but it only took 30 mins to get it stiched up, all i can say is thank god for insurance if i was paying out off my own pocket i would off questioned it.

    mine already done good idea, so if you loose them or they get nicked you have a chance of getting them back, and it can track down the scum bags that dump them and abuse them.

    you go on about dogs attacking cats what about cats attacking dogs, i was walking my dogs a while ago on a main road when a cat followed us hissing and swinging its claws followed us for fourty feet if had been on a side road i would of loosed them off, it was embarrasing , cats are getting hard faced round here they just stand their ground, the only good cat is a dead one, and they are lazey f**kers they don't even cover their shit up any more.
