    the irish terrier lurcher, iv hurd alot of good things and bad things about this cross but mainly good things, so why are there none about in the modern day?!? has anyboday ran this cross or does anybody still run this cross? can anybody put any photos up and information on them please? i find this cross very interesting and im one of those that prefer too take on the crosses that are rare, athough i do have a bedlington x whippet and a sal/whip/coll/grey x dh/gh lol never mind any information or photos would be very apreciated thanks ban is just a word. p.s it doesnt have too be

    cheers people, yeah got a few better photos of her but wont let me upload them onto the laptop, that photo was when she was 7 1/2 weeks old, ill get some better photos up over christmas, the mum stood at 24" tts and the sire stood at 25.25" tts owner claims that the sire took everything but wasnt very good at turning and the dam took everything aswell, but i surpose anybody can say that....

    most crosses will do what you want them too do its all too do with the up bringing, a mate of mines a a 3/4 collie greyhound hancocks bred that will hit foxes but once its took a belt back off one she lays off them wheres another freinds from hancocks collie x's does foxes single handedly, i do agree with most of the previous posts you want something with abit of brains, the collie x thrives on being givn commands too follow! the whippet/greyhound is another good choice, and the bedlington/whippet which was originally bred for foxes etc but also exceed too be very succesful on rabbits but i

    sitting at home on a thursday night bored out of my brains so heres my pup shes 9 weeks old brindle broken coat saluki/whippet/collie/greyhound x deerhound/greyhound. i know shes a puppy but she is very aggressive lol teaches me boxer dog and the beddy whippet a few lessons every day haha not scared of anything and attacks anything that moves, got high hopes about this pup! please tell me what you guys think and honest answer please??? and put photos up of your lurchers and what cross they are.

    not the exact cross as what you have but this is my bitch shes 8 weeks old and shes a saluki/whippet/collie/greyhound x deerhound/greyhound pics dont do her justice as you cant see her white chest and grey under neck. shes brindle broken coat.

    before anybody asks, (havnt you already started a topic on this) iv not that was a topic for a name, but anyhow on with the subject, iv just took on an 8 week old bitch from wales, she is a saluki/whippet/collie/greyhound x deerhound/greyhound. and shes a dark brindle broken coated im just wondering if there is anybody out there with a very similar cross too mine and what is it like? any pics are appreciated.

    copper wud be a good name cus her face looks like a little fox cub, but shes a bitch, i always find it harder too chose a name for a bitch rather than a dog

    new recruit, fetched her from wales two days ago, DAM;saluki/whippet/collie/greyhound 24" SIRE; deerhound/greyhound 25 1/2" fitting in nicely and sorting the boxer dog out aswell haha, getting on fine with me beddy/whippet, very active and not shy at all, good at opening the christmas presents under the tree too! not got very good photos yet but will put good ones on as we go along, what do you lot think? and any name suggestions pleas?

    not been on for a while, shes tip top and as naughty as ever, you cant leeave anything around cus shes steals it, shes on weight now, and stands at 20" tts very fast little girls slowly building some muscle now, took her out with the ferrets and nets today came too a warren in the middle of a short grass field rabbit found a secret little bolt hole bloody thing and off it went with flo not far behind it, she turned it 3 times weveing in and out then the rabbit made a suicidle decision and tunred too go under her legs.... game over! couldnt believe it shes made me so happy just a few weeks bac

    just took the dogs for a walk around the block, came home with 58 hares, better not take the dogs another walk until this snows cleared hey! lol your all winging muppets, do what you like if i come across a hare in a field wether it be snow or what i wouldnt call my lass back good on you mate hares can still run in the snow faster than a rabbit can on a golf course...

    thanks lads shes certainly brightened up my year, and im sure she feels like she has one the lottery coming too this family, although she doesnt liike like she is putting on much weight she deffanitely is, alot too, but still far too low for any dog!! feel soo sorry for her bless but she really is changeing now, only been a week and its gone from a frale bitch that had no confidence in her self or anyone/anything she wouldnt even walk infront of you incase you did something behind her back, wouldnt walk out the door until you had gone out, wouldnt wag her tail etc etc too a bright bitch th

    yes they did mate, shes not had ant micro chip of any vaccination jabs, the vet said we have too wait till shes healthy and back on weight till she can have any vaccinations,,, we have a totally different bitch now from when we first got her, each morning shes bounding round the house, up and down the garden playing in the snow and with the other dogs, her mistcheivass sie is starting too show few photos from yesterday....

    a freind of mine runs a 3/4 grey 1/4 collie bitch from hancock and shes fantastic mate takes all quarry and will run all night long very clever bitch too.
