    a friend of mine had a half cross years ago ,it was a dog about 26 at shoulder and had a head bigger than most bull x's. he was a very clever and trained to the whistle ive never seen a dog kill foxes as fast as he did,he used to take all quarry .he was rough coated bluey grey in colour,if your thinking of getting one i would say go for it sounds a machine mate! im not getting one im just thinking ahead for putting a dog across my sal/whip/collie/grey x dh/gh if she makes the grade

    cheers mate, when you click on add reply scroll down and under the box you type in it says attachments then a box and next too it, it says browse... click on browse pick your photo then under the browse box it says 'attach this file' click that then all the way too the right it says 'add too post' clck that and post topic

    this is my pup shes 8 week old in the photo but currently 10 weeks old now but no updated photos on the laptop yet, shes a saluki/whippet/collie/grey x deerhound/greyhound got her mainly for charlies only in ireland ofcourse she is alot more broken coated now than what she is in the photo. show us your deerhound x's includ how there bred what size they have or are expected too make and photos if you have any thanks

    has anyone got any knowlegdge on this x or any photos, iv been told alot of good stuff about the x and hurd that it is more than capable of tackling charlies single handed. i would love too see some photos of the cross shorely out of all the people on this site someone must have some history with this cross atb josh

    iv not long got my self this little fecker, shes a sal/whip/col/grey x deerhound/greyhound brindle broken coat i just hope she makes the grade she certainly has the aggression!! p.s im currently living in ireland

    a book iv got 'the lurcher training and hunting' you should think about getting it, its got quite abit in there about teaching too 'jump', iv sstarted my saluki/whippet/collie/grey x deerhound/greyhound at 9 weeks old started with a 9" peice of board in the door way where she cant avoid it, make her sit and stay get over the board and then call her too me and she clears it with ease shes now up too a 15" peice of board and shes just 13" tts and she still clears it from a standstill! i know someone with a hancocks collie x someone with a bedlington/whippet/greyhound and somebody else with a be

    exact things happened too a freinds collie x last year, that bitch is now fine and running just as good as any other dog, hope yours recovers aswell as his has done atb

    never seen it with my own eyes but i have seen 3/8 5/8 bull x's take hares in good style on dvd's. wouldnt be my choice of x for hare coursing though

    the emperer of the charlies has been cuaght! shame really, ad it just shows what the fox has become the fact that people hate them i respect all my quarry and before the ban on foxes i always thought they was a respectable animal that us huntsman looked up too and they put up some great sport, nowadays they still do put up some great sport for some of us, but seem too be harder too squeek in i wonder if the rabbits squeel is no appeal now as they can rely on a bin 100 yards down the road?!?!

    i live ten minutes away from the scene, its scary too think im so close, poor dogs they look good strong machines aswell and looks too have been well looked after at some point, they reckon someone has stolen them and hanged them for public view too prove a point of some sort, and it wasnt just the one person involved as it was one rope of 20 foot going across the bridge hanging the poor dogs at each end and elderly lady was too find them as she went too explore why the rope was across the bridge.... dont know how them people can live with themselves now,

    thanks for everybodys concern, she is still having runny shits but the vet has said it is just a simple case of diareah and most puppies go through it at sme point or other, shes hydrated, and at the correct weight.. thanks again josh

    one of my pups is 9 weeks old, shes correct weigh, very happy and playful and TOO aggressive haha, acting the same as she always is basically but yesterday i noticed that she had a case of diareah and though it was just an upset tummy, today she has had it even worse and its been getting worse and worse all day, its got too the point where she has too be let out every half an hour for a sh*t, like i said she is acting just the same as normal, i will be booking her in the vets for tuesday if she is still bad in the morning, is there anything i could give her while i wait ?!?! somebody as mentio

    sorry i was wrong, please forgive me, the things that hung these poor dogs are unknown, the bridge is literally 50 yards dwn the road from where i go beating in shakerstone, only a small village aswell, although i do know gypsies have recently moved in about 2 minutes away from this scene and the grounds around shakerstone are full of sally's

    do 'people' on this site actually know what there talking about? i run a bedlington whippet bitch a bedlington collie greyhound bitch and a saluki/whippet/collie/greyhound x deerhound/greyhound i cant fault the beddy for what she does, rabbits and rats and the odd charlie not single handedly although iv seen it done with a beddy x, there should be no argument wether a beddy x can or cannot take a deer because nobody should even think about it, if someone is soo keen too take deer then get something with deerhound in not a bedlington x which isnt bred for the job

    sick c**ts i live in leicestershire and ib hurd all about it, surposebly its a family called smiths from a nice area of melton mowbary who run racing greyhound kennels, and this two 'lurcher type dogs' were useless so they hanged them

    1 freinds hancocks 3/4 collie grey is well capable of a good course on long ears, and taking down charlies but doesnt kill them, another freinds bedlington x greyhound is also well capable of both, iv whitnessed both dogs doing so with my own eyes, also hurd of peoples collie/greyhound/bedlingtons taking down fallows, but before anyone jumps at me, this is just what iv hurd and im taking there word for it. im hoping this pup does the trick

    hi all just posting this topic as my brothers just got himself a 10week old bedlington x collie x greyhound pup. anybody else work this breed? any infromation and photos would be apreciated thanks
