    i don't doubt you have DD heard nothing good about your self & terriers, but how many ns enthusiasts can say that.. I've heard of dozens of young terriers full of promise that got pts because of ego's and people in a rush to get to the finish line. One thing I've learned over the years is that there is no finish line. I've had and have still got flyers, but the vast majority of these start early but don't seem to put it all together until they're at the end of their second season.     Roxetts last grandson, out of Treacle at twelve years old, his sire is producing plenty of digging dogs and has a line on both his paternal side and maternal side going back to the beginning of NS stuff.

    In my opinion if your not prepared to put the effort in and build a good bond your just a man with a dog not a dog man and will do no good with most dogs of any type You wouldn't believe the amount of people that rear terriers like chickens, down the yard, fed and watered but no socialisation. They take them out, having never seen a field, car, cow or an earth and expect them to shine from day one. Obviously when it all goes tits upwards, it's the wank terriers fault. NS stuff in general are quite, intelligent and need constant attention, needy for want of a better word.

    I've got bitches here I'd work in anyone's company, I've got steady and bay mix, right through to absolutely bonkers. I keep saying it, NS terriers won't suit the bulk of terrier men, they're very intelligent, some are slow to mature, unless you're willing to put the effort in to get a good bond you'll do no good.

    Why give false pedigrees, better to man up and give them nothing but your best wishes. If a lad proves himself over time to be the genuine lad you thought he was, then and only then give him the pedigree.

    We can go around and around, I'm quite sure it'll still be being argued about when we're all dead and buried. Bull IMHO does NOTHING for a terrier that earns it's living under the sod, even if you had a one off that was small enough to get and clever enough to find and stay, why would you chance folding it back in to potentially ruin what you're already successfully digging to ?

    I don't get the bull blood, why would you set yourself back by two or three generations, life's too short ! If from what the bull blood aficionados are saying, the first or second generations aren't much use, why would you put yourself through the wait ? Surely you'd be better off finding a working terrier with the style you're after.
