    but the lad never ask for retorical answers he asked if it was ok to lamp the dog on frosty ground and he was told that if the ground was too hard its not advisable and then you posted to take the dog out etc etc and then you start saying that you wouldnt run your dog on this type of condition you contradicted yourself and then you talk about ppl talking the talk if you have any idea about running dogs you would have been straight up from the start and told the lad it was not a good idea instead of being retorical and telling him to go out atb john

    WOW !! You recently told a guy not to be so touchy !! I never said I'd run a dog in these conditions ! I just made the observation that if we waited for a perfect night, we'ed never get out ! Cheers. so if your now saying you wouldnt run your dogs in these conditions why say at the start to go out and run his dog on loan on hard ground youve contradicted yourself there bud YES IN A TREAD WHERE SOMEONES ASKING IF THE GROUND IS TO HARD TO RUN ON,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,NOTHING TO DO WITH WIND OR RAIN OR ATMOSTPHERIC PRESSURE,, WE DONT ALL WAIT FOR THE PERFECT NIGHT REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOU THINK,,

    i go out every chance i get good cond bad cond just to get out but i dont take the chance on hard frosty ground its not worth having the dog laid up and like i said its not his dog to risk cheers john

    and say he took your dog out tonight and it came back with broken feet that would be ok with you would it? i know i wouldnt be happy if it was my dog

    thats your own choice when its your dog that might get injured but different story when the dog is only on loan to him

    well said bunnys i dont agree with whats said about "a good yank with a choker" if you yank too hard you could damage the dogs larix pull into your heel but not a good yank and a quick pause till settled then move on when I said a good yank I didn,t mean pull the dogs heid off,theres a difference between being cruel and being firm,maybe I should have worded my post differently,Its just sometimes I forget some people get overly excited when you try and give advice, beginning to think its just a waste of feckin time participating on this forum, thats why i said i didnt agree in ca

    maybe so but jail is jail a sentenced man is a convict and you can wear civy clothes in all jails i know of except one

    the only dog i would give kennel space is one that works for it if it doesnt work it doesnt get in doesnt matter what breed if it fills your pot you fill its pot

    i have one from 2005 i think it was :laugh: good stuff great books to read even now i'm 28 i still love reading them going to see if i can find some in my parents loft in some boxes of old stuff i'm sure theres one or two old ones kicking about in there somewhere

    you cant do a sentance as a civilian and not be a convict if your sentenced you ARE a convict unless he was on remand then he was not a convict but if he was sentenced he was a convict not a civilian

    i was told off a head keeper that any type off assaults on your record you got no chance he had poachers try to burn his house down and he got one of them and gave him a good beating this was about 8yr ago and he still has no certs back after trying time and time again

    cheers dodger i just makes my day knowing i'm doing somebody good nets without the phone number sized price beside it like i've said on other threads i'm not here to make money from my nets i do cover my costs and make a couple of quid extra but that extra couple of quid is really just more nets for myself so happy all round how many did you bag with them?
