was out last night with woodgas mate john havibg a test drive of me new toy to be , the ground was still wet after all the rain and snow we hada while ago it seems like it has never drained away ,the good signs were there still is a decent number of rabbits about ,a good few half pinters,and some half grown so it looks good for later on ,i did miss a few well few more but thats nothing new ,heres what we did get sharing the shooting between us and the the drving

we were out the other night selecting an ash tree to cut down to make some new pegs for woodgas peg wires ,we felled the tree :ph34r: then cut it down into sections to transfer back to the car 14 bits at 7" ,and some left to pick up ,woodgas made a start on the pegs quartering and the cutting up the quarters to rough shape pegs the shaping them to the right size ,you might say thats a lot of work for something to hold ya snare down ,but as the title says pride in the job will get the finished article picture up when i get down to see him ,its just an insight as to what it takes to mak

these are the ones i got motorola walkie talkiesthere not bad they say 3km range but in the woods it gets shorter due to the trees ,but can reccomend them ,you can get a push to talk headset bit like the doormen use ,it saves fiddling aound in yer pocket when the heat is on shop around for the best price i paid £ for 2 with desktop chargers and re chargeable batteries you can use normal batteries too cheers rob
