  3. Basically get the bond right...right now iam in kitchen having a fag and my young dog will come threw and lie at my feet...all my young dogs do that...older ones got wise later on in years..but she wouldn't do it unless the bond was good...and that reflects what happens in the field..no dogs perfect but as long as its workable ...basically at every chase take your dog everywhere with u

  5. Lol he's got doberman ears...Brian. ..is there doberman in him lol
  6. And try and stay calm if dogs young and misbaving ....strict but also fair at the same time....rember lamping is a team affair u and ur dog working as one
  7. Recall and work to the light...nothing worse than a dog with no recall
  8. God...sorry to hear that IWW...bloody hell ....
  9. Need separate battary u can get a cheap enought lead sealed battack off ebay cheap enought....I like it cause it's light well made not too big ...gives a nice light spill as dogs need to see when running up...I've never understood guys who Want a very tight beam when running a dog ....u can flip on and off a filter easy enough...its best suited I think for rabbit lamping..I.e small to medium fields. ..
  10. She looks like she's enjoying that rabbit IWW. ..she looks like she's off to a good start with ferrets and getting out..atb with tess
  11. If it's just rabbits. ..I like using the blazer lite ...I think there round 60 pound mark....

  16. Braw night ....dogs did there thing ..While we just chatted away....
  17. Ehhh no cause everyone will laugh at my bike
  18. When out with my very younger brother...The sign behind him is the international cycle network route ..so if your lucky enough to live on east coast these cycle paths go from very north Scotland to London. ..very handy and for all to use to bike dogs....
  19. There's another one called strander I think got spelling right...I just went mapmyride as I seen it on Facebook. ...and it was easy to spell as iam a dumb c#nt lol
  20. NO I HAVE SAMSUNG. .U might have to download it..I got mate to do it for me...its good as I thought where a mile and half was where i walked for years ...was actually just a mile ...and it keeps records of ur workout
  21. Even if there pups gas. ..u no ur own pup...better out doors than stuck in kennel..ull get a feel for ur pup more out..up here we don't have to worry too much about summer heat....having said that plenty non per whippets run races in blistering heat down south ...those racers know how to keep them cool and so does many many lurcher men...ull just keep doing what ur doing...forget what the women say u know ur own dogs best as every dog is different. ..and if u make mistakes that's how we all learn
  22. It's also helps in lamping season..if out with dog 1 hour excise a day but when season starts on night ur out 4 to 6 hours roughly ur dogs use to it...cause in fairness lads I could jog faster than I bike her at those speeds I just find biking easier on myself sitting on a nice padded seat after a hard days graft during week I do 5 to 8 mile every 2nd day or a least 5 days out of the week .At weekends I make sure she's out 3 to 4 hours to get her use to the lamping night hours out ...last year k could do nothing as traveling 200 miles round trip to work everyday so this year the bike was a god
  23. As u can see it's not fast speed I go...nice canny...I use mapmyride as it's free and keeps track..also that time doesn't include my breaks as I pause my map ride everytime I stop u could easy add 30/40 mind on time
  24. Get me out the house work on a Sunday morning longer I say out the less wife shouts at me...and dog gets what she loves outdoors for half the day..its a win win
