Which is the best ir illuminator.?
BooMster replied to the rabittonator's topic in Night Vision & Thermal
As far as i'm aware the IR300 is not out of stock until another week or so. I use the N1000. I would have had the IR300 to test the other day but the guy who makes them needed it to test onother project/s. If its air rifle ranges then there is nothing wrong with the N1000 to be honest. I'd swerve the Yukon. -
You have PM mate

Where did you order it from? Direct from Night Hunter site?

Anyone interested in a lamping competition
BooMster replied to a topic in Gamefairs, Meet Up's and Events
As some one stated it would have to be by slips if anything. I think the idea wont work. If theres 30 to 40 people walking the same permission, in 2s/3s split nights what ever, then surely the rabbits will thin off for the last of the lampers. Lets say you give each lamper 5 sllips, thats a possible 200 rabbits needed to be on that land. Weather plays a huge part with lamping so i think this sort of thing cannot be fairly judged, not to mention the time invovled to get all 40 out on good nights. I can go on but thats my view. If all this is to have a good night out, meet new people and -
Its a nice little IR, but the N1000 was a better buy for me.

Hi all I'm after some Ratting Permission if you know any one that needs help getting the numbers down. I shoot an Air Arms S410 SL. Sub 12flb (Under the legal limit) with Night Vision. I can also offer day time shooting if required as and when i can get the free time I currently shoot a number of Barns, Pig Farm, Corn Shelters,Ponds etc but theres not much on offer as i've hit them hard to get the numbers down. I'm located in Mansfield erea, of Junction 29M1 and looking for a 30Mile radius.. Further for the right shoot. I do like to record the my nights out, for my Youtube

Lads i have a Sony Camcorder for sale, Its a PC330E. Its basicly the same as a PC9E but i rate the 330 over the PC9E.. I brought the Camcorder for Night Vision Recording Use only and since i've had it i've used it Once, but as a spotter... The cam will mount to your scope like a DSA add on, but it doesn't clear most stocks. So if you have a Air Arms S410 SL with original stock like me, it wont fit unless you hack into the stock. Something i'm not willing to do. Its ideal for mounting onto a rapid stock as i know people who use it on rapids. The cam is a lovely piece of kit and a huge

As new with DSA. Payed £299.99 a few months ago. The unit has been used a couple of times, comes with original pakaging/Box, instructions, bag, DSA, etc. The unit itself works very well mounted on my AGS scopes with side paralax 3-9x40 using a Pulsar 808 IR. Its ideal for Rats/Rabbits. I have had no problem regards spotting Rats/Rabbits at ranges that my 12flb AA cant cope with. Reason for sale is i don't use the add on any more as i'm lucky enuff to use a close friends GEN3 PVS unit when i go out for as long as i wish. I do plan on buying the PVS in do time, but as for no

Beddys are very good and very keen dogs. Not slating the beddy at all, basicly the guy slates a patt for goin to ground but yet thinks beddys don't? Thats the picture i get anyways..

WTF??? Have you read the bit about not going to ground? Or is thart a wind up? WTF??? You said beddy??? Yes i have read it. Have you heard of recall? I owned a spot on Patterdale that never actually went to ground and if it did, he returned to my call every time. I've known all kind of Terriers that go to ground though, including patts and beddys. Some that were lost for days on end too. I've witnessed spaniels run off, A dog is what you make it. Put the effort into any dog and you will get rewards... Loads of people on this forum will advise all types of breads. Tbh it so

I watched a few lurchers run, strait through sheep netting lol my dog was one of them not happy pulled all the others out of racing bloody dangerous.he was very lucky. I don't blame you at all. I saw two hit it really hard and take a roll or two. I could have thought of more appropriate netting regards the dogs welfare.
