the last couple of times we've been out we have got piss wet through so today was a nice change, nothing serious just mooching and bolting for the dog's and to give the ferts a run out, there was quite a few missed but we wasnt after numbers we ended with 13 but on a down side 3 of those where showing signes of mixy ::hitfi:: the black dog is Buck and the dark brindle is my bitch Ruby

not to bad mate Ruby does like to hunt as much as i do and she can put a bend or 2 in on big land,when we go out in the day it's just about enjoyment, we could have netted today and got a decent bag but we just wanted to let the dog's have a free role, we picked up 13 which wasnt to bad. it was good to get them more used to the ferrets as both dogs havent done enough of it to be honest

well ive been out all day doing a bit of bushing and bolting for the same 2 dog's and you lot are getting all hot under the collar lol, suffolk some of the land was very short fields and others with long tufts (you know the type), anyway last night was a mixture of easy and hard as you've got to take into account them steep hill's as well. i will admit Ruby has never been good at clappers as we dont get many but last night she did realy well and took about 6 or 8 so either she has mastered it or they where easy you decide mate. will do boss haha every trip i intend on doing things a bit neater but by the end of the night i think sorry Tomo i want my bedespecialy last night i was fecking soaked as well as fecked, whatever way we do it there just isnt any drop off points so the carrying is hard work

thanks everyone, northerlite my bitch Ruby is 2 1/2 and Buck is just over 3 1/2. Andy the dogs arnt perfect they have there faults like every dog, it just boils my piss that one man's failure doesnt mean a whole line is worthless, you know what im getting at so i wont harp on. one thing these dogs do have is wind and bags of it, and at 2 1/2 i think Ruby is more than proving that and making me a proud owner atb Daz

Had another night last night with Ruby and my mates dog Buck, the weather wasnt the best it was pitch black but with very little wind and terrential and i mean terrential rain. the dog's ran very well it was Ruby's 1st outing since our trip upto scotland where she realy did come of age, she kept up with Buck again last night not in any kind of competition it's just the way i judge her progress as he is a dog ive seen since day 1 and a dog i rate a lot so it's good to see she's turning into as worthy a dog as he is and they are a very sinilar way bred. id guess at 65 to 70lb Frankel the reason being i saw the dog the other week and he standsabout the same height as Ruby but stronger and thicker sett and i know Ruby is allways between 55 and 60lb, got the hang of the new camera then Ry???

brill post mate and that 2nd pic is a cracker you must be the camera man out of the bunch as ive seen some pic's of your day on 1FTPand even though they are good these are a bit beter lol That second cracking photo he took is also a miracle. . . . .as he is in it haha i cant argue with that can i?? it is a good pic it's crystal clear and the colours look realy bright, even though im trying to soundlike i know what im talking about (and trust me i dont) but that pic just stands out from the others

ive been lucky that ive met some decent blokes on these sites especially the 2 lads who i did this trip with, but im like most folk ive struggledfor numbers when i needed them for a pup, ive got a decent amount of permission but the numbers just arnt there anymore and a bag of 20 between 2 dogs is a good shift, Tomo offered me a chance to run on his permission twice and that was just what my young dog needed and was a god send, that is the reason i let the bloke know exactly what we had on our trip and any details he wants if he decides to do it himself............also during the summer i s

First time we did the ton,,, was at the end of October, 2009',,, granted that was two dogs,, and last year our two best scores of 90 and 101 came in December , the 101 was on the 29th of dec....ok that was 3 dogs,,, but mine had 53' that night. My own view is that the dogs could do the same again,, even later in the year,,,..............the big issue is if the rabbits are still there, and haven't been killed by other hunters , disease or preditors.........of course they still need the correct weather conditions TOMO the thing is people do believe what you tend to write,its because you a

thank you for that we didnt do what we did for fame we did it because it was a fantastic trip that we all enjoyed including the dogs,we didnt even start the post, i kept intouch with Tomo whilst out there and he thought it worthy of a mention, ive written a long post with full pic's on a small site that we are on with not one negative comment infact the site was the reason the 3 of us got together and did the trip, NOW THATS WHAT THESE SITES SHOULD BE ABOUT!!!!!!!!
