  17. my dad has a litter of 6 pups and due to the parents working ability....well the dam first cross whip, bed is an ok dog but the sire 23"irish coursing whippet is an outstanding dog,i have decided to have one myself.the problem i have is that they are all great little pups the only difference is colour and coat ,so is a rough coated dog best for cold nights on the lamp or would a broken or smoothe dog cope just aswell ,i have a rough bitch already and i quite fancy a smoothe one advice please

  19. i by no means any expert but i say would around 5 or 6,and yes it is nice to have a dog that knows exactly what you want and not have to keep on at them its enjoying to watch them get craftty ,my uncle had an old whirrier dead now but she would lie in the runs in cover let the other dogs do the work and catch coneys on their way through funny to watch,i didnt beleive him until i saw it with my own eyes
  20. yes hes definatly lost that initial burst of pace but his brain engages quicker, i.e.when he was younger he would go straight up the beam 100 miles an hour not litterally and take a quatter from its seat, where as now he dissapears and comes into the beam from nowhere and strikes he just seems to adapt this is great for me as my bich is not the quickest and shes started coppying him by watching
  21. my old mans irish coursing whippet is 10 years young still does the business, shows my young bitch up anyway,we have just taken a litter off him with my dads first cross beddy whip and are keeping one each, the old boy jock is worth his weight in gold! i just hope that my pup turns out to be half as good atb ryno
