Thanks lads, no worries BPR, these dogs aren't for everyone, all credit to you for thinking long and hard about what you want in a dog before taking one on. I managed to find exceptionally good homes for the rest of the litter through friends of friends etc. Only one was homed through THL but it was the best of homes. This pup was one of the first booked and was to leave for her new home in mid august, unfortunately the lady contracted shingles in a bad way and had to pull out last minute. I'll try to get more photo's up after work.

Thank's for all the comment's, they are genuinely are great pups, most of the credit goes to Nura, she is a great mother, I just supply her with the best of raw food. The pups have been free range since 4 weeks old which IMO all adds to development of mind and body. Yes T, they are from a mother/son, I thought I had that in the original post, I'll go back and edit and add a price. -

Surely the breeder would take it back? I know if anything like happened with any dog I'd bred, I'd be wanting it back rather than it being passed on.

For yourself considering everything you have been through with your dog and the fact you stood by your dog and didn't just get rid, I'd gift a pup to you.- 32 replies

So sorry to hear you have had such a traumatic experience, the unfortunate thing is that the vast majority of us will of gone through this, so most of us will totally feel your pain, I certainly do. Chin up, I hope in time you can smile and laugh at the good times you had together.

Kazakh Tazi and Tazi X Saluki both pretty substantially built at 22" tts and 50lb for Tazi bitch and 26 and 70lbs for the TaziXSaluki both worked primarily on rabbits

LOL I've seen footage of the kids running flat out over the same ground trying to keep up with the course, Martin you were likely doing it when you were out there as a kid?
-
I wouldn't say Salukis are too avanced an option for someone starting out, often its folk that are too used to typical lurchers that struggle to except the Salukis different ways and that is why many don't do well with them.
-
Most of the western bred Saluki's are derived from areas in the north were they are known as Tazi but that seems to conveniently over looked by the 'breed' clubs.
-
As a general rule yes they are much more strongly built, Nura is 10 pounds heavier than my Saluki bitch Ameerah who is slightly taller than Nura. Their mindset is similar in a general sense but still some differences all the same, my Salukis are very fiery, where as Nura is much more measured in her ways.
-
I have only imported one bitch Malc, I didn't have any bother getting her in though. There was another guy (I think David was his name) who imported two Tazi bitches from Russia but they both ended up in a RSPCA shelter of all places and were neutered and rehomed when he split with his wife. The breeder wasn't too impressed as she wanted them returned to her but the RSPCA would have none of it.
-
Nothing clearly being Saluki's,lol, what else could a saluki possibly do other course hares on massive fields. I don't actually remember ever saying my dogs are no good for big land though. I really don't see what this thread has to with my dogs anyway.

I'd more happily watch a video of you being blown up, there is little I detest more in life than racists.
-
The 'few people' I wanted to make aware would be the decent folk that that are here as oppose to an actual list individuals that I could be PM'd. It's is my prerogative to find the best of homes for these pups, would you you simply home pups to anyone and everyone that asked for one?
-
There has be no suggestion of anyone type being better than another from me, just idiots on here going off on a tangent. I've told plenty of folk a salukiXlurcher would be a better dog to get if coursing is your game.
