    My bitch does 5 miles a day by the side of the bike,she winds down in the garden for a bit and shes fine,she hardly drinks anyhing either,she is saluki x,but my collie x dog drinks twice as much. Sounds like she is gona be fit for you mate!ATB

    YOUR DOG CAUSE IV SEEN QUITE A FEW PLUS MY OWN CHASING AND TRYING TO STOP IN MID CHASE BUT NO NO NO THEY DONT FEKIN LISTEN JMO no need to shout! she is a bull cross back 3 gens,and she does listen! like i said,maybe im lucky.but in my opinion you can stop any dog with the right training .atb

    Thanks mate..ive have so much good feed back.Alot of work goes into organising these shows and its all worth it when things run smoothly it run smoothly because us welsh lads were there rook will be in touch soon mate earth bell us atb welsh Because you welsh boys were there .Have spoken to Rook AND you have my number at least welsh border bitch won the day! Hereford,lol!!!!!!!!!!!

    I agree to train a lurcher to stop chaseing imho is totally unnatrual and i wouldent attempt it for fear of mentally damaging the dog. this is true cause you instill rules in your dog from a young age eg.not to chase livestock etc but teaching a young dog to chase quarry and encourage him to do so then to smash that dogs confidence by then teaching him to stop well you would have to be very firm with the dog to do that any way would mentally damage a young dogs confidence but then again each to there own atb biza Some people on here really don't have a clue about dog training.

    it's nothing like the same as stopping it chasing livestock, you want it to catch rabbits etc. most of the time, you never want it to chase livestock so it shouldn't run after livestock no matter what. good luck with her mate! No but it is kind of similar to the control needed to do the following - take one hungry dog, make him sit, place a bowl of really tasty meat in front of him and watch him sit there for 10-15 mins wanting the food so bad but not moving a muscle, before you give a command and only then does he eat.     is it a championship show or open show at heart of wales? And was Lambourn a qualifying show? thanks.

    They didnt have a working class but told me that champ and reserve lurcher qualified for edrd and a lot of others aswell,not knowing how it all works i just wondered if i would get paperwork in time! Or if i have actually qualified.

    i work my dogs and show them in the summer for fun and a craic,worker or non worker,if its smart,it will do well!!!!!!!!
