  5. every time i take my bitch out she comes home with scuffed and sore hind legs,it takes a few days to heal before i can run her again,does anyone use vetwrap when running thier dogs? does it help,or is it a bad idea,circulation etc,any advice would help,cheers shushy.

  7. :thumbs:biggest bag ive had was last season,26 with one bitch,nice small paddocks,but these nights are rare,im happy with 6 or 7,its just good to get out!!!!!
  8. my collie grey did exactly the same,he would pick and choose the rabbits he wanted to chase, but he would always chase and catch ALL the big stuff,everytime,i put it down to either early entering on my part,or too much collie,what i mean is he was very clever,i kept him til he died cos he was handy to have around the kennel but he was that frustrating i felt like shooting him sometimes!! I wouldnt keep another one like it tho,so personally i would get rid and get somethng with a dash of bull and saluki, atb
  9. im the lad from hereford in the landy,me and the missus always see ya,i put the remark up about the whip grey for Kevs sake,he wasnt happy! what time you get home after? atb Sid HAHAHA. Nobody could believe it mate, was very embarassing to say the least...(the whippet greyhound) It was the only smooth haired dog in there as well... The judge in that ring owns Saluki's, maybe he likes skinny dogs, who knows... Also there class over 21" and under23" was entered by a cpl of dogs standing at least 24", maybe next year it would be wise to have a measuring rod, just a thought... The
  10. agree with longnetter,try and build up his fitness.I live in your area and im finding the bunnies extra fast at the moment,also cant get any sensible slips,everythings at distance,maybe your asking a bit much of him.ATB
  11. good day out and there were some cracking dogs there today.couldnt understand why a whippet greyhound was in the top 3 of the beddy lurcher class tho! And i think some of those under 21" rabbiters may have been slightly over Had a good day tho and hope saturday nights trouble doesnt it up for next year!!! ATB

  13. As i told you,you have qualified mate..your qualifier was posted ages ago,you should have heard back by now. i havnt heard anything yet bud,thats why i was asking.
  14. I won lambourn show on 17 july,and was told i qualified for pride of peaks,will i get a qualifier cert in the post or do i just turn up,cheers
