  1. Where? I can't find any "proper" ones on there. I want one like target sports sell (http://www.targetsports.co.uk/popup_image.php?pID=1119&osCsid=d0ec5e105503fce836bb1fbca5cd7b9a)as they have neoprene ends on them...hence they won't damage my barrels or stock...but for less than £25 would be nice! Does anyone know who makes these ones too?
  2. Wanted - cheeter type swivel-less sling - black preffered Thanks, Oly.
  3. With the price of postage these days the best I could do is £25 posted and they could be in the tonights post (if you reply before 4pm). First come first served Cheers, Oly.
  4. Found out that they're 4Oz. Will be able to measure them (for size) on Monday, and will post my results on Tuesday. Cheers, Oly.
  5. No I don't sorry Rew, they came with a bundled deal a did with a fella recently and it's not what I do...hence they're up for sale.
  6. I've managed to convince a mate to get into shooting. Hence he needs a shotgun cabinet, anything considered at a reasonable price. Cheers, Oly.
  7. 30 nylon purse nets with pegs already attached, used but in very good condition. £30 posted ono
  8. Your first major desicion is slr or compact. On the compact side the Nikon Coolpix are about as good as you can buy for clarity, brightness and colour. On the slr side the new (relatively) cheap Canon's are excellent value...if your looking at spending more than this you need to serviously look into it. A cracking website for camera reviews and comparisons is www.dpreview.com. ephotozine is another good website but just on techniques and some reviews etc...basiclly an online digital camera magazine. Happy hunting!
  9. She's a clever one...even put the block in the right order!

I hear they have now been recalled anyway!!! Apparently something wrong with the handsets!
  11. Prue Coat's Poachers cookbook is always a good place to start
  12. If you want a good website to compare all digital camera side by side, SLRs or compacts go to http://www.dpreview.com/
  13. Many thanks for the PM's so far, now replied to...any other experiences? Cheers, Oly
  14. Many thanks for all the replies. Given me something to think about. Still reckon they're benefits are a bit of a mystery though!
  15. I'm moving down to North Shropshire in the near future and was wondering what experience people have of the flo's down there? Having had excellent service in Cumbria and heard some bad experiences of Cheshire flo's I am a little concerned (not that I'm doing anything illegal...just makes life easier!!).
  16. millet they where specially made to suit your gun so you better not loose them I wouldn't have thought the ejectors would have ejected them, as the ejectors are "set" using recoil, and I can't belive that snap caps give enough recoil do they?? You sure your not just bumping the butt on the base of your cabinet when you put them away - thereby "setting" the ejectors. Having the ejectors "set" whilst stored probably isn't a good thing either!?
  17. Whenever I talk to gunsmiths about snap caps they always give non-commital answers...so, do you use snap caps in your stored guns, and if so what's your reasoning/science behind it??

Don't joke, theres a fair few out there on ebay...making good money too!
  19. Cheers for the info so far, and especially to Moles for the info on squirrel and funnel traps! Still undecided...but with Larsen traps are they that effective without a live calling bird? Does anyone else have any type of experience of this? Also what are the rules about shooting an air rifle in your own back garden...which is a 7ft high walled garden that nobody can really see into?
  20. This is another good link to a funnel trap http://www1.agric.gov.ab.ca/$departme...f/all/agdex3496
