  1. May well depend on whether or not they were violence related.
  2. Cheers Snap Shot - may well be going down the Redding Big Boss route myself :thumbs-up:
  3. Cheers OTC, looking to reload centrefires though. :thumbs-up:
  4. Had some really mixed info about Lee reloading gear, is it any good or not?
  5. Just wondering if anyone had a copy they would consider selling? Ideally I'm after an electronic copy, not sure if this is currently available, if not if someone has scanned a version etc would be much appreciated. Alternatively, if anyone has a copy of Deer Quest this too would be much appreciated. Cheers, :thumbs-up: Oly
  6. Nice meat in there :thumbs-up:
  7. If you can afford it, the Sako get's my vote...but otherwise a Remington 700! :thumbs-up:
  8. Sounds/looks like you had a good time, well worth the trip!! :thumbs-up:
  9. Cheers Stabs...bad timing!!
  10. Like the posting suggests - I want to start reloading so I'm after the whole kit. Please get in touch if you don't use yours anymore and would like to sell it on. Thanks, Oly
  11. If you want the BEST it has to be Anschutz...wins hands down every time Anschutz would outshoot any non-custom rifle any day!
  12. Re: 700 SPS - it's not what I'm after - no heavy varmint barrel and cheap plastic stock that doesn't have a alu frame Re: Guntrader - thanks, I do keep my eye on it but nothing has come close yet. Re: Watch out for non genuine imports - the best quote I've had is from an genuine Edgar Bros source :thumbs-up: . The other option though would be to go to one of the big gun trading firms and get them to price match or price beat - which have told me they would do quite happily . Any other cheap dealers out there ?? Thanks so far , Oly.
  13. 700 VLS in .243, best price so far £618
  14. I'm trying to locate a cheap Remington rifle dealer. Having had experience of vast price differences between dealers on other rifles (my Anschutz's price varied from £450 to £950 !!), I'm interested to hear what others have to say on the matter. I'm willing to travel so anywhere in the UK is a possiblity.
  15. Just wondering what people pay around the country for .243 Win ammo these days? Also, what's the relative cost of reloading too? (also how easy is it & how much outlay is required for the equipment to do it?) Cheers, Oly.
  16. To be honest I need better accuarcy than a hammer forged barrel can give - hence the slightly difficult request! Not sure on budget yet, it's proving difficult to find anything other than the Savage to fit my requirements off the shelf!
  17. Just considering my options on a .243 and thought I would ask around. I basically want a heavy varmint type barrel (Note: not a hammer forged barrel - only a button or drilled barrel :thumbs-up: ), that can be threaded for a moderator. The gun is going to be used for foxes, deer and range work. So far my thinking has led me to a Savage 12FV, which has a free floating button barrel...but surely there are more options out there?
  18. £20 and £5 postage and they're yours.
