  3. Fine looking dog chid. Strong too. Ideal for a mooching dog, for me anyway. Atb j
  4. Yeah I do, I miss a dog around the place, no rabbits, but as you said yourself get something for what's there. Seen this litter come up, so I thought I'd do a bit of homework on them first. Atb j
  5. I think the best thing I can do is call him tomorrow, and see what the breeder says about them. Atb j
  6. No, there's no pic of them, that's why I asked on here, hopefully get more info, Atb j
  7. Anyone have a bull, wheaten lurcher. Seen a litter advertised, looks like good strong pups, was just wondering what they could turn out like. Atb j
  8. I'm afraid id would need more that one LOL Atb j
  9. Your not nosy lol. Don't have one now, after the last died, I didn't see the point in replacing her, since there was no rabbits left. Maybe if they returned I'm might get a pup in the future.. It was whippet, and whippet lurchers i preferred for the land that is available to me. Atb j
  10. Plenty of hares as well. They come down off the hill into the small fields at night to graze on the green grass. The fields here range from 1 to 3 acers, with 3ft single stone wall surround. Some topped with barbed wire. Ideal for a whippet or grew. The hill aren't steep, but peaty and granite. Not much tall heather. A good strong lurcher type would handle them, as long as they have good feet. Atb j
  11. Not on the fields, but higher up on the hills in the plantations. A goood amount of red deer Atb j
  12. Yes, unfortunately it was imo, used to find bodies above ground, without a mark on them. It would take a lot of rabbits just to start a restocking programme, and I'm not sure would they survive. There's miles and miles of land like this, all cleared out of rabbits. Atb j
  13. Might be an interesting watch Atb j
  14. Going to take them a long time to recover, if they do Atb j
  15. Is that no banned already over there. It is here, the odd size 9 on the seat of the pants did no harm, more good if anything. Atb j
  16. It was bound to happen, nature will reset the balance again, not saying this is the one, but there one on the way. Plus there was always global warming, look at the last ice age, before that the climate was dessert like. Certainly less people about then, and there was on industry to blame then either Atb j Atb j
  17. In the last two pics, this places used to be fully dug out by rabbits, now the grass is nearly knee high Atb j
