    Took the young bullx out with the greyhound last night as she starting to show an interest in things that move and even though she only just turned 7 months yesterday she is very fast for a half cross. Anyway didnt go out to run them on anything just see what was about and get her used to the lamp as i always used to take my other pup my sal/bull/grey but shes laid up with a broken leg. So got to the place where i know there is a few rabbits but you onloy get the one slip so seen the rabbit that was going to run them on slipped them and they had a good run and the rabbit ran well and deserved

    lol only on 3 a day now but still to many!!!!! we went out in the "magnet" a few weeks ago mate and got seen on a public footpath at the big hill far side of s****ys land by a deer stalker!! so any way we talked with him, said sorry and went to drive up that big steep hill. normally she will make it if i have a good run up but this time it was from standstill and when we got about 20 ft up it had no chance of making it so i had to back it right down and into the field the stalker was in to go the other way s****y was on the phone two hours later dont know how he guessed it was me :laugh:

    that staff cross or whatever he is is gonna be a very good dog i think keen as fook with loosing robbie and ripper my little russell thinking he a running dog more than a busher and waiting for the other dogs to bolt the rabbits he been very handy to have around go in thick cover and allsorts but doesnt cover every inch like robbie did yet but took him out and had a bit with queenie but to be honest he never had to do a thing really queeny did it all but give him bit more experiance and if enthusiasm is anything to go by he will do well. the bitch is doing well now rocky1 cheers she hating it

    my young dog had jumped up on the kennel over my shed and on to the neighbours lol heard a nock at the door opened it (can you get the dog off my shed) lol that day she done a runner got out the window went for a wander for few hours looking everywhere for her phoned everything and everywhere i could think of did miles on foot went home have a drink and she came back on hr own little lol

    well said shame a few more people dnt fink like that thered be alot more good working dogs about. Do you guys honestly beleive confirmation doesn't count in a running dog ? Cheers. dont think they do good workingdogs will confirm to a dog with a physique/disposition that is right or running not how long his shin bone is to his eyebrow lol think that is what they think is confirmation but were not on about that confirmation

    hi mate, you say "some" were they all out of the same wier? Are you sure they werent repeats? yes pal out of the same weir and different weights as 2 were landed on the same day, its been acouple of year since i last fished there and i think ? one was early 20 and the other mid 20, all fish landed out of there were all very good doubles, i use to lend a boat of a kid who lived on a old barge to which i could get in some decent places under over hanging willows, i do know its changed abit there and the old derelict house in middle of weir has been done up so i dont know what its like there a

    I think it's poss but a lot of work and needs doing by a prof but be easier to replace the pane that's scratched or get a new tank mate might be easier and less hassle in long run
