    They tend to "open up", as in bark alot when chasing quarry.. Not ideal for Lamping etc..

    I like this post.. Plummer was a bit of a Walter Mittie.. The late Kieth Erlandsen of the gundog training fame (and regular writer in Shooting Times) caught Mr Plum out on a number of occasions.. I used to enjoy reading there love letters to each in CMW..

The only examples of the breed I've seen are two now very old Dogo's in Holland.. And they had good temperments, it's the twats on the other end of the lead..

    My dog is a 33 tts, Kilbourne going back to Arkinglas pure Deerhound / Irish coursing greyhound first cross.. He's eight now and still doing bits and bobs..

    I last got the Country Mans Weekly around 8-9 years ago now I think.. I concur with what Skycat has mentioned, but I gave up buying it after the paper got less content and with some "dubious" articles like training a rabbiting terrier puppy by letting it run under your bed ? .. (Think it was by David Bezzant ? Sp ?)..
