  1. you can get kc registered working whippets, these are the ones you want to go for, there are plenty of good lines about, if you do your homework
  2. just say if you did get rid of the dog, what is she gonna want you to do? or get rid of? come the next time she has a rant, it will never end mate, it will just get worse, stand your ground and keep your dogs mate, thats what i would do, i have had the same problem off one or two lasses, dont let them win. ps looks a nice dog
  3. xl up to 10 months old then onto racer cocker
  4. nero is looking good mate, how tall is he now? cocker
  5. as riohog says this is correct, new blood will be introduced into the working salukis which are already here, my own plans include a desert bred saluki dog with no kizzy or pharoe in it, but not for another 3 years, and no pups will be for sale they will only be given to close friends, or those i feel i trust, in 35 years of keeping dogs i have only ever bred two litters, cocker
  6. they arent all kizzy and pharoe, there are plenty of other lines in this country already, and more coming in right now, with all due credit to some of the lads on here, my mates pure salukis have no kizzy or pharoe in them, neither do any of the others who i run with, although they are all bred from imported stuff, and all are used very regularly, cocker
  7. i wouldnt say salukis were particularly popular, for instance there are over 24,400 registered users on this site but there are only about a dozen people who actually own a pure saluki, on here, as for prices take a look at any kc registerd pure bred, they are all very expensive, especially small dogs chihuahuas for example £1000s of pounds for a good one, not only that prices in dogs do rise, the first whippet i ever bought cost me £5.00, jack russells £5-£10, lurchers £25-£50, a bag of chips 10p, take a look on e pupz now, they cant get rid of salukis on there, they end up being for
  8. put your hand in your pocket and buy one edd im sure youll enjoy it its the best thing you can do just get out and buy one, they are fantastic dogs if you buy the right ones, all i think about at work all day is getting home to get out with the dogs in fact ime off out for a mooch for a few hours right now, cocker

  13. hi my dogs get chicken carcasses, and lamb carcasses, personally i dont feel the need to give them extra calcium, i also give them minced beef mixed with a handfull of vitalin, (WHICH CONTAINS BONEMEAL) tinned oily fish , and the also the ones in tomatoe sauce, lamb, rabbits, beef tripe, turkey necks, again mixed with a bit of vitalin plus cooked veg, and raw eggs, cooked rice and pasta, dog biscuits, and a supplement of evening primrose oil and garlic tablets, fresh water every day, and keep them wormed regularly, plenty of free running excercise every day and then most of all work them
  14. some quality dogs there lads cocker
  15. why ??????????????????????????? hes only 2 years older than me, he shouldnt come round my house knocking f.ck out of my door then sticking his foot in the door when i told him to go back home, shouting his mouth off and upsetting my wife and kids, what the fu.ck do you want me to do,
  16. dont know if any of you lads have found this, but if you try to be friendly and polite to some people, and try to be helpfull towards them, i think some people see you as a soft touch and think they can start telling you what to do and what not to do, then stab you in the back, i have found a few people like this and it makes my blood boil, my neighbours did that, i wouldnt care but they nearly all have dogs anyway, i told my neighbours me or my dogs wont be going anywhere, when ime dead and gone my sons will live hear and have dogs, if my neighbours dont like it they will have to f.ck off,don
  17. bird your dead right it would be unfair to offend others by keeping dogs that are a continual nuisance, i would not want to do that, myself, and i should have mentioned that my dogs only howl for a few minutes, maybe once every few weeks,at the very very most, not much more than that, and that is what aggravated me was that they were so petty they complained about that, i know my dogs dont make anymore noise than that cos someone is in our house all the time, and my dogs get worked and excercised every day, and the dogs are close to our house so i can hear every sound, my neibours are all ret
  18. hi i have my own house and my dogs howl like wolves, personally i dont give a f/ck, the neighborghs complained, so i filled a couple of the neighborghs in and threatened the rest of them, this stopped the problem of my neigborghs, complaining. hope this helps cocker
