  8. hi all, i read alot of peoples right ups about there days out .. so here is mine . went out at 7am just local to get some food for tea,so me and a lad of here( jingo) so we started to hed up to the first set it was a 6 holer so we set the nets down and i used my polcat jill , about 5 minutes into it a thud thud thud the dog ran over and a rabbit ran into my hand made net , a good start , there was nothing left down there so we moved on. got onto another set wich my lurcher was marking well. so again we set the nets down on a 4 holer and used my mates ferret , a big hob 2 minutes went by th

  14. 6 ft long you must be bolting foxs the size of wolfs :laugh: i just copied off one of my fox nets that id bought out of a shop its not to do with the size of the fox its so they cover the holes i have been to sets where even a 6ft net wont cover certain holes atb pal is that like 2 rows of 8 then two rows of 9 then so on ?? i knit mine 15 wide meshes all the way down pal and that works ? that works for me pal atb both ways work however the modern method is quicker and uses less material ok thaks alot lads good info thanks again kile :thumbs:

  16. thorght that was too big mate. is thats a good size ????? 6ft min mate remember when you set them they become shorter as you open them out over a hole nice one mate i will make more up now , nice to make them morethan the rabbet nets . thanks kile
