  3. Nope the Bloke a complete numpty when it comes to guns he had it as payment for something and now wats to sell it...So i might take up the offer, the reason why im asking is thers no gas in it and im only buying the gun so i want to know how i refil it ...i was thinking just buy a new bottle for it or refil it with a diving bottle.
  4. I have Been looking around for a while for my First PCP gun moving up from my heavy Weirauch HW77k and i got offred A BSA Super Ten at a ridiculous price all i want to know is the Gun any good and how do refil it with air because ive only used PCP guns with built in gas Supply and not with one of these buddy bottles, i would ask the person im buying it off but they havn't a clue about guns Cheers
  5. I dunno if its lucky but there was a Brilliant coursing dog in wales just up the road from me called the dark destroyer owned by mad Bry..You may have seen his videos..this bloke is well known for his seluki's and coursing ..Pre Ban obviosly
  6. Yes they can ive seen it, though this dog didnt have the normal whippet temperment it was nasty as hell, the dog did take a bit of a smashing, it isnt all about the make up of the dog althought it obviosly helps, its about how clever the dog is and the heart of the dog i would have said:thumbs:
  7. The white dog will be working as normal but this is the first propper working season for the red bitch as shes only 16 months, i'll post some more on their progress through the year.
  8. There arn't many rabbits around my area due to myxi but luckly they are recouperating their numbers but on a average with the terriers hitting them up and the lurchers working the cover we have 7 to 10 rabbits with a 5 or 6 propper runs for the lurcher.
  9. Shaking a dead rabbit in the hole bumping it on the sides and squeeling has always worked , i've never have to leave a fert in the hole. They come back out when they hear the noise because they think its another rabbit
  10. Im 16 also and it is shite, i got the courage to ask a farmer if he wanted any of his rabbits sorted out yesterday he said 'yeah crack on mate', he said if i wanted to clear some rats and crows out for him aswell, wots the worste they can say no. my first permission betta not mess it up tho
  11. shes an excellent marker and follows scent well, she has killed a few rats with me and (supposidly) can take fox. although i havn't tryed her yet. she also listens to me well with normal commands got a good deal i think
  12. Dogs coming on well now, thought i would put these up as i havn't put any tidy pictures of him on here yet.

  15. Nice looking bitch mate where in South Wales u from i think ive seen that area before?
  16. The only down side to earthwork....bit risky..never the less still worth it, my first dig was about 4 months ago it wasn't my dog(if that still counts) but anyway it was on the slip, an old landslide on the mountain, we put the collar on and netted the holes up then put the terrier in (from ken gould lines i think) minutes later he started baying for about half hour, it turned out that a vixen had bolted but got stuck and the terrier killed one in the hole he dragged a dog fox out turns out he had bit the nose clean off and eat it terrier had a few scratches nothing bad.
  17. I've seen terriers catch hares in cover, and rabbits in fern. Dont think they would be fast or fit enough to catch one running
  18. Good excuse use that one next time 'but officer it attacked my dog'
  19. Great stuff. They Defiantely wont get bored then I might Knock one up for myself
  20. This Old man i know Give me this trap which had been in his trap since he moved there, i think it was made for mink but i was woundering have any of you tryed this type of trap on squirrels or rats as i have set it where there are rats and every time i check it the bait has gone and the door it still open . Once or twice i set it the trap and the bait has gone and the door is shut. rats cant be that sensative on their feet i know. Could it be mice By the way im quite young and inexperienced so some advise would be good :thumbs-up: I did cut the grass after
  21. i know on Ebay they sell them from time to time
  22. Good bit of hunting mate . You gotta do it when Permission is at stake or it will go over to the next willing person
  23. The one i had was alot bigger than that one in the picture. A man from my way told me they had a wild polecat kitten before and when it was old enough took its teeth out and bread it with a tame jill, the kittens from that were good stock but were just as vicious as a wild one
  24. I know their illegal to hunt but has anyone ever had any in their traps, they're nasty little things is it illegal to kill them once caught or is that classed as hunting aswell
  25. Tidy looking dog there the old'uns always the gd'uns...does it still see any action then?
