    Your quite right the more you do then that will help with your profit but i doubt you'll see money back in the 2nd season if your just a newbie. Lets take the gas....you wont be getting that off anywhere near the 3 week stage, it will be between 4-5 depending on the weather. You could buy small drinkers for that price but if you want to do more the you will need bigger and better drinking equipment which adds up.....a typical feeder for say 400 birds to hold one bag of feed will be £30 quid and you'll need 2/3 of them.     Always fed mine late on, just before I went to bed,,always missed a complete day of feeding too, usually a Wednesday.. why do you be skint on a wednesday???... load a balls.... feed the dog seven days a week...do you starve yourself on a wednesday????     Thats nonsense mate. They certainly are a commitment but theres no reason to feed at certain times. I feed my dogs when i want to feed them. They are normally fed after a walk around 5-6 but that doesn't mean to say they haven't been fed at 12 in the afternoon or at 10 at night. I'm the boss not them..... I agree,I'm sure that if you fed them at exactly the same time every day, you would have howling dogs on your hands.     I just cant see shooting foxes as a sport i'm afraid. Infact lamping them or waiting out for them was nothing short of a chore when i had a shoot. I never once thought "yes lets get the lamp and go and drive about all night for a f*****g fox". I'd rather be in my bed since i'd be up early the next day. But its part and parcel of a job and if it wasn't done then you would be taking a big risk. Now i very rarely if ever get any bother from them in the rearing field but if i see one then it gets it.
