In the same boat , working on a yard as a Groom/Handyman/Caretaker, I only work 35 hours a week at just above minimum wage, I do anything I can, I used to do turkey's and trees at Christmas, Firewood in the winter, Mole trapping which I was not very good at, making bird boxes, rabbit hutches, ferret boxes, the odd brace of rabbits or a brace of table-ready ducks at the local pub. If you have the get up and go, and a money making head, then you will always find work, help's if you can do a few things, the next thing I want to learn is making purse nets, also would love to learn leather work

If i go on holiday my Celtic tops will be going as well as my Scotland top................if that makes me a chav then so be it. PROUD!!!....... Absolutely, remember a few year back though had this weegie at the hotel, union jacks, ulster flags, rangers flags hanging from the balcony, wasn't too fussed, then the sash and associated songs were blaring, shouting and swearing etc. (he had got friendly with some other lads) people at the hotel were complaining, so a quiet word in the lobby was spoken, that's it? Naw! Next day the c**ts on his balcony with a balaclava on pointing something p

I cant understand anyone knocking the boss if they too have climbed the ladder and got the breaks in life. I bet each and everyone on this site would love to be top of the tree and have everyone making money for you. Its what everyone should be striving for in life, to be the best. Sometimes you hear of folk who f**k up good job after good job yet they still land on there feet in the end, usually a right lazy b*****d tae.....now that gets on my tits. If youve grafted since you were young and used your head, caught the breaks at right time you should be sitting pretty by retirement age.

Factorys, Lab are nothing but workhouses, your just a number , Ive seen a big change over the years in the way people are treated . Ive seen alot of full time workers sacked for next to nothing only to be replaced be agency workers make you wonder what will happen when the new pension scheme comes in and the companies have to pay into it , will they just rely on agency to keeps costs down True mate........its a case of people never really happy where they are.
